Rusty is a mellow quite and well mannered 13 pound long hair Chihuahua, possibly Pom Mix that looks like a little FOX>. He was picked up by a kill shelter as a stray and no one came to claim him. He is about 6.5 yrs old and would make a great lap dog. He likes his food his soft bed and takes treats from you ever so gently. Rusty is calm and would flourish in home where he can sit on your lap and follow you around He is good riding in the car and good walking on leash. He would be ok as an only dog or with other gentle dogs. We had him neutered, microchipped and all his shots. Bela is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped. Bela is a sweet girl who would love to spend lap time with her owner for as long as she is allowed and she is house broken as well as crate trained and gets on well with other dogs and cats. There can be ABSOLUTELY NO NAME CHANGE! This is non-negotiable since Bela has had her name since she was a puppy and she follows on command and loves going on walks! We would love a large fenced-in yard with grass and a home with at least one other small dog in the home. Bela will need a couple of days to settle into her new home and she may be a bit shy in the beginning. We recommend no young children under the age of 10 yrs old. Meet and greets will be held in RIVERSIDE, CA https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980 QUINCY is 4 months old and he is a male Chihuahua mix with a jet black short-haired coat which will require minimal grooming. Quincy’s current weight is 6 lbs but we estimate his full grown weight will be approximately 8-10 lbs; he is crate trained, learning leash manners and he is dog and cat friendly! This boy loves to play and he has the typical puppy energy you would expect him to have! A bit of background: Quincy and his sister were surrendered to the shelter by their owners and his sibling was quickly adopted leaving Quincy behind. Thankfully Quincy didn’t have to wait too long before he too found his new home and family. Yay! We wish that we could say that all ended well, but sadly, Quincy was quickly returned when the adopter realized that Quincy is almost completely blind. We are heartbroken that his adopter was not willing to keep this amazing little dog who is absolutely joyful, happy and oh so sweet! We do believe that he can see some light which is a huge positive, and because he was born like this, he doesn’t know that he is different and to him this is his normal. Vision impaired dogs can get around quite well and they quickly adapt to their surroundings and establish a routine. Quincy will need an owner who will be patient and is willing to learn what is needed to to provide a good home for this special boy. Will you be that someone? Quincy is microchipped, current on vaccines, is neutered and he would love nothing more than a forever family to call his own.
