He’s only 10lbs currently and we don’t expect him to reach over 20lbs full grown. He’s essentially a pocket pittie with all the sugar and spice you’d expect from his breed blend. This adorable little guy is going to charm you with his stunning grey eyes and beautiful silvery grey coat. He’s pretty chill for a young boy but still has enough spunk to be fun. We know there’s someone out there who loves pitties but really needs a smaller size and Tucker is going to be the perfect fit for you! Can you believe this gorgeous boy was brought into the shelter as an underage baby? He went into foster care for awhile and is now back at our ranch making friends with a few of the other young dogs. Ranch staff are working on the training basics while we work to find Tucker his forever home. Tucker has been great with dogs his size but needs time to adjust to the bigger guys. He’s so small we think their size intimidates him. He’s a touch shy but loves human interaction so it doesn’t take long to win him over. He’s also very treat motivated which is helpful when working on his training skills. This sweet boy is adoption ready and simply waiting for the right family to see his pics and story and apply to make him theirs. Maybe that perfect family is you? Fred may not be visibly perfect and he may no longer have the body of a young dog but his soul gives what his appearance can not. This boy loves with his whole entire heart! If his old bones would allow it he’d be in your lap every second of every day. He wants nothing more than to be with you and for him that time, that little bit of attention is enough. He’s the kindest old man and we are determined to find him a family who will give him the caring end of life he so deserves. A retirement filled with soft places he can rest his tired bones and more love that his larger than life heart can handle. Fred was part of a group of 13 senior dogs who lost their long time rescuer when she went on hospice. She was no longer able to care for her animals and they all needed a soft place to land. All 13 are now in foster care with us and waiting for loving forever homes. Fred is part of this crew and looking for a home that understands that he’s an old dog in an old dogs body and our goal is just to keep him comfortable and happy for the time he has left. Fred is significantly overweight. More to love right? But the reality is that extra weight puts a strain on his aging bones. We’ve got him on a reduced calorie diet plan and his future adopter should continue this diet in the future. Fred is also currently being treated for an eye issue and walks with a tilt to his head. The tilt is nothing we can fix and only adds to his old man charm. Fred will never be perfect but we can promise if you open your heart and open your home the love he’ll give in return will last a lifetime. We hope we can find him a kind human who will do just that! He has a very sweet and lovable personality, but is a little shy in the beginning. With a little patience he warms up quickly though and is very affectionate. Recently thought he got diagnosed with diabetes and needs two insulin shots a day. He is doing very good with them and can live comfortably with it if properly monitored. He is very quiet and mellow and will make a wonderful addition to a loving person or family.Tom is about 9 years old, neutered, vaccinated had a dental. The were left behind when their drug addicted owner got evicted. He had them tied up in a dark room of the house with our food or water. They were rescued by a kind neighbor who had too many dogs already at her place and couldn't keep them. She contacted us and fortunately space had just opened and we couldn't say no. Simba is very shy and fearful but super sweet and gentle. He will warm up to TLC and loves to be held. He needs a person that will understand his shy personality and can give him a quiet home and patience. He is about 6 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. She is an itty bitty little thing, weighing just 7 pounds, but has lots of personality. You would never know that she is 14, even the vet said that if he hadn't been told her age he would have guessed her age at around 7. Her teeth were in horrible shape though, they probably had never been cleaned and she had 17 teeth removed, but otherwise she is in excellent health. She is all healed now and full of life and happy energy and has bonded very deeply with me and wants to be and go wherever I go and gets a little anxious when she feels like she is being left behind. She is a cuddle bug and likes to snuggle under the blanket at night. The other dogs here don't bother her at all and she gets along wonderful with all of them. She would make a lonely heart very happy with her gentle and loving disposition,.She is spayed, up to date on all her shots and microchipped. A soft warm bed, a set of loving arms to hold her. A short toddle around the yard and good food to fill her little belly. That’s all she wants and like most super senior pups her care needs are all about keeping her comfortable and happy. She’s a simple girl and just wants the simple things for the time she has left. At only 7lbs she doesn’t take up much space and she promises she’s as quiet as a mouse. Foxy was part of a group of 13 senior dogs who lost their long time rescuer when she went on hospice. She was no longer able to care for her animals and they all needed a soft place to land. All 13 are now in foster care with us and waiting for loving forever homes. Foxy is part of this crew and looking for the perfect retirement home to call her own. She isn’t perfect. No senior pup is. Her balance isn’t perfect and she walks with a head tilt and will circle a bit in new environments. But once she’s acclimated the circling is much less and she enjoys short little walks in her home and yard. She’s has a sweet and loving personality and is hopeful the right family will love her just the way she is and not expect the perfection that comes with youth. But your sweetness always wins and you can’t help but lean in for that soft touch and gentle stroke. We can’t believe you spent weeks running the streets of a rural city with a pack of dogs. Good Samaritans scooped you up and now you’re living in foster care showing everyone what a good girl you are. House trained, calm, gentle and unassuming you want nothing more than the kindness humans can bring and a home to call your own. You’re great with other dogs.
