Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Meet Badger! Badger is a gentle soul with a heart full of loyalty, looking for a forever home where he can truly thrive. His journey hasn’t been easy—he came from a couple who were living in their car and had to make the difficult decision to surrender him and two other dogs to a shelter. Sadly, Badger wasn’t adopted right away, so he’s now with us, patiently waiting for his second chance. At first, Badger may seem a little reserved, but once he warms up to you, he’s as loyal as they come. Because he missed out on some socialization as a puppy, he would do best in a calm, quiet home with patient adults who can give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. Badger is food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and bond with his person. He gets along with smaller dogs and might do well with another low-energy canine companion. Badger is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $150. If you’re ready to give this sweet, deserving boy the loving home he’s been waiting for, Badger will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love. Could you be the one to change Badger’s story? Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $150  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##1987508##

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Here’s a draft for your adoption post:   Meet [A] from the ABC Litter!   This sweet pup came to us from a challenging start at a homeless camp in Kalissa County, but they’ve already shown incredible progress in their foster home. While still a little shy, [A] is slowly but surely coming out of their shell and learning to trust the world around them.   Here’s what we know about [A]:     •    Best Fit: No young children, please! Homes with kids 13+ are ideal, as [A] is still learning to feel safe.     •    Other Animals: We’re unsure how [A] would do with cats or livestock.     •    Training: House manners are a work in progress, and leash training hasn’t started yet, but with love and patience, [A] will blossom into a well-mannered companion. [A] is looking for a calm, patient home to help them feel safe, loved, and confident. If you think you’re the one to give this precious pup the second chance they deserve, please reach out to us for more information or to schedule a meet-and-greet. Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2264834##

Story
Lola is a darling little Chi mix with an adorable underbite! Lola is a sweetheart and loves cuddles. Lola knows the things she sits, is great on walks and has energy. Lola is playful and loves toys and bones. Lola does good with all dogs but can be concerned about large in your face dogs until she knows them but is living with one now and adjusting well! Lola is housetrained, crate trianed and rides well in the car. She is a wonderful girl and easy to love. Lola takes some time to warm up to new people, once she knows you she's all in. Lola will also with all her 12 pounds guard her home by barking 🤣

Story
Hi! I'm Skeeter! It has taken me awhile to get used to my surroundings, however I am very brave and really starting to come out of my shell. I love to be with my people and in their laps. I recently have started taking treats and playing with my toys. It is taking me a little longer to get used to going on walks, however I am getting more comfortable every day. I am really starting to show my playful and affectionate personality. I am very friendly and would love to go to a new home. If you think I would be a good fit for you, then come meet me! * Fantastic news! Your $150 adoption fee now comes with a complimentary $250 training session with our partners at Freedom K9, ensuring you and your newly adopted dog embark on a journey of success together. Elevate your adoption experience by bringing home a loving companion and professional training expertise with Freedom K9. * Due to age or sterilization status, this animal is available for fostering with the intention of adoption upon reaching the appropriate age or after undergoing spay/neuter surgery. As a foster parent, you can bring the animal into your home, providing care and love until the adoption process is finalized. Once the animal is ready, you can complete the adoption, making the furry friend a permanent member of your family!
