Story
Unfortunately, we have to find a home for our sweetie Kona. His birthday is Cinco De Mayo he turns 9 years. All vaccinated done, spayed, and trained. We love Kona, we stepped in for friends whom got him from a rescue while he was a puppy. And my child and I have had him for the past 3 years. We’re renters and the home owner will plan to eventually sell the home and it’s difficult as a solo parent to find new housing with a child and a dog. Most rentals don’t expect pets sadly. He enjoys cuddles, walks although since a senior doggie he also a homebody and fine staying in while being around your happy home with family. He’s also pretty good with other dogs as he grew up with our other dogs with my friend’s household. We’re finding Kona a new loving home for the remainder of his beautiful life. Serious applicants message me at Lindyloo143@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Affectionate cutie! Meet Sweet Simon! Simon is a gentle, affectionate boy who came to SVPP from a local shelter feeling frightened and shut down. Now that he’s settling into home life, his true personality is beginning to shine. He’s learning to relax, play with toys, and enjoy cozy snuggles with his fosters. Simon absolutely loves getting pets and has started seeking out attention on his own. He’s incredibly sweet and happiest when he’s close to his people. While he’s not overly demanding, he definitely has a “lap dog” personality—whether he’s curled up in your lap or resting right beside you, he just wants to be near. When he’s not shadowing his humans, Simon enjoys leisurely walks where he can explore the neighborhood at his own pace. Don’t let his relaxed style fool you—he can comfortably go 1 to 1.5 miles! It took a few days for his playful side to emerge, but now he loves toys and balls. He especially enjoys being chased and is starting to get the hang of fetch. Simon is also making great progress with potty training. With a consistent schedule, he’s picked things up quickly and continues to improve every day. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet, gentle boy!Meet Clifford, aka Cliffy! Clifford is a social, happy dog who loves meeting new people and greets everyone with a wagging tail. He gets along well with other dogs—after a quick sniff, he’s ready to play! He is gentle, quiet, and easy to have in the home. Clifford likes to keep an eye on his person, especially if he suspects treats might be involved! He also settles easily and spends plenty of time relaxing on the couch. His favorite thing is curling up next to you while you watch TV and pet him. He is affectionate and loves giving kisses. He rides calmly in the car and enjoys trips to the park. Clifford loves exploring outdoors—he moves quickly, is agile, and is curious about everything around him. He has not shown much interest in toys yet and prefers interacting directly with people. Clifford knows how to sit for treats and sleeps quietly on a blanket rather than in his dog bed. He can be a bit nervous around large objects and loud noises, but overall, he is a sociable, quiet, and sweet little dog who settles nicely into a routine. Are you ready to welcome a gentle, friendly, easygoing dog into your home? Clifford is waiting to meet you!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 11, 2026, 3:10 pm

Story
Tiny  is a sweet and affectionate little gal who loves being close to you.  She is a little quirky, which makes her so endearing.  She loves everyone she meets and is such a good little sport.  She's learning to walk on a leash, and she loves being carried or pushed in the stroller.  She is less than 6 pounds and is the perfect size.  She is an easy size, sweet-natured, dog-friendly, and a total companion dog. Energy Level?  low House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Tiny is still learning how to navigate the leash Describe how they are with other dogs?  She is great with other dogs. She will snuggle and sleep in the same bed as the other dogs. She is learning to share my lap with the other dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She is great with the resident cat. Commands they know?  Tiny comes when you call her, but she hasn't had much training and would definitely benefit from basic training. What are their favorite things?  Tiny loves to be with you.  She loves to curl up on the couch or sit in the sun in the yard What do they need to work on?  She needs to learn the leash and needs basic training. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  Tiny is fine being left alone, but does much better when she is safe in her crate.  Otherwise, she will pace or run around the kitchen table.  She does much better in her crate while we are gone. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in her crate. What is their ideal home?  Tiny is a good girl and would make a great addition to any home.  She does well with kids and dogs. She is ready to go everywhere with you. Tiny is 4 years old and 5.9 pounds.     The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . Story
Baxter  is a sweet senior boy who joined our rescue after his family of 11 years moved out of the country. At just 4.5 pounds, he is a tiny little guy with a big personality. He is adjusting to his new life and would love nothing more than to spend his golden years with a family to call his own. Baxter is a bit hot and spicy and is not shy about letting you know if you are misbehaving. Since he has no teeth, his “corrections” are all gums, loud sounds, and a little slobber. It is more comedy than anything else. Energy Level?  Low.  House trained?  Yes. However, we have used belly bands to discourage marking, and it is working! Describe how they are on a leash?  He walks nicely on a leash, but also doesn't mind a good push in a stroller Describe how they are with other dogs?  Baxter is great with all dogs, big and small, and even tolerated a large breed puppy. He is currently fostered  with several dogs Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Baxter is good with cats.   Commands they know?  It's time for dinner :-)  What are their favorite things?  He loves to explore the backyard and enjoy the sun.  What do they need to work on?   He is slow to warm up to new people, very spicy, and will try to gum you and slobber all over you since he doesn't have any teeth to bite you with.   How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He’s fine left alone. We leave him in a pen when he is alone.  He does not potty in his pen.   Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in his bed in a pen. What is their ideal home?   Baxter would do best with someone who appreciates his spicy little personality. With new people or if he feels someone is fussing with him too much, he may growl or give a gummy snap warning. Remember, he has no teeth, so it is mostly sounds and slobber. He would be happy in a home with or without other dogs. Baxter is a simple guy who enjoys the easy life. Give him a fluffy bed, good food, and a calm home, and he will be perfectly content. The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt . Story
Gizmo  is very youthful, perky, and energetic. LOVES to play with his toys and wrestle with small dogs. Loves to run around. Sniffs everything while out on walks. When he finally settles down, he's very affectionate and cuddly. Enjoys lap time while I'm at the computer. He is a good couch snuggler while watching movies. Food motivated (after a while, he even started liking some fresh fruits/veggies as a snack). Energy Level?  Med to High House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?  Good once he's on leash, but he thinks getting harnessed is a game, so it can be a little challenging. He is still a bit of a flight risk, Describe how they are with other dogs?  While on walks, he growls at bigger dogs, but when he gets close to friendly dogs, he was ok. He loves to play with other energetic small dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Don't know about cats. Will chase squirrels/birds if given the chance. Commands they know?  He knows 'no'. We are working on  'stay' when we wait to cross a street (on leash), and he gets it. What are their favorite things?  His favorite things are stuffed toys, sniffing things while on walks, and food What do they need to work on?  He is a bit too interested in passersby and dogs during our walks. We are working on getting him to focus on us. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  I work at home, so he isn't alone much, but I think he would do ok being alone for a few hours.  Had in/out privilege, and he ended up sitting in the sun, chewing on his toy. Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in his crate. What is their ideal home?  An active home with other (energetic) dogs. Loves interacting and loves to run. Preferably has room for zoomies. Need to make sure he does not bolt while getting used to his new home, because he loves running. He is a great little dog. The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt .
