Tripod #Tripawd #Tripaw &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Adopt Jackson, The Cutest Tripod &#226&#173&#144&#239&#184&#143 Lovingly called Jack, Jack is an 18-pound, 3-year-old dog. DNA test pending. Jack is eager to learn and is currently in a board-and-train program. He is crate and potty-trained. He is currently learning basic manners, commands, and socializing while living with a trainer in a home with her two dogs and a cat. Jack has had a difficult and challenging journey. He was surrendered to Every Pet's Dream Rescue in great pain. His backstory is unknown. Our vets did everything they could to help him, but unfortunately, after his first surgery failed, his back leg had to be amputated. Jack can be vocal at times when startled and was most likely not socialized as a puppy. He is currently working on these fears. While at the rescue, Jack learned to adapt as an amputee, his new living situation with several other dogs and a cat. While here, he became besties with two little rescue dogs. Jack is energetic, likes to play with little dogs, loves to play fetch, go for short walks, and settle in on the couch for a cuddle or snuggle. Jack loves the simple things in life, like belly rubs, ear scratches, lots of stuffed toys, and people. Jack would do best as an only dog or a home with a small, playful dog. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is a sweet, loyal, and loving companion. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Jack is searching for a foster home or foster-to-adopt when he graduates from training at the end of the year. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 If you're looking for a new best friend, Jack might be the dog for you! Story
Leia is a friendly, full-of-personality dog who loves attention and loves to explore. Energy Level?  Medium/Low House trained?  Yes, mostly Describe how they are on leash?  Leia is mostly fantastic on a leash--she can bark at other dogs, and prefers a sniff walk (i.e very slow exploration) over a walk for exercise. Describe how they are with other dogs?  She needs to take a bit of time to relax around new dogs. She is a bit bossy and would not do well with dogs that will not back off if she needs space. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She does not appear to have been around cats too much. Commands they know?  Sit What are their favorite things?  Leia loves attention. She loves her sniff walks and cuddling up on the couch with a person. What do they need to work on?  Leia would benefit from more basic training (like come, stay, etc.). She can also be overly anxious when meeting new dogs. In addition, she can resource-guard her toys (or anything she deems as hers, like a stray sock or one of her jackets or blankets). How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She can be anxious when left alone, even with other dogs. She might whine for a bit and scratch the door. I have left her alone for 6 to 7 hours at a time so far. Where do they sleep?  She sleeps in a dog bed or a crate. What is their ideal home?  Leia's perfect home would be where she gets a lot of attention (or at least can be close to her human when they are home). She loves going for slow sniff walks every day or a few times a day. She is delightful and loving but likes being the boss with other dogs. Her ideal home would not have dogs who are too 'in her face', but she does get along well with calm dogs after a proper slow introduction. October 19, 2024, 3:44 pm

Story
Our sweet girl  "Millie"  had double cherry-eye surgery recently and is doing great.   Milkshake is very sweet and cuddly and enjoys a lot of physical contact. she is very friendly and happy. She is also learning to play and becoming more playful by the day- enjoys toys, play fighting with our dog, and zoomies around the house with our dog. Millie is confident- not fearful so far and sets boundaries well with other dogs. Energy Level?  Medium House trained?  In process Describe how they are on a leash. Very good Describe how they are with other dogs?  Social, communicates well Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She hasn't been around cats, ignores guinea pigs Commands they know?  “Go peepee” comes when her name called What are their favorite things?  Snuggles, burrowing in laundry, sitting in the sunshine What do they need to work on?  House training, basic commands, crate training How are they when left alone?    How long have they been left alone?  So far, she doesn’t love the crate, left in the crate for 1-2 hours. Where do they sleep?  In our bed or a crate What is their ideal home?  A calm, predictable home. She likes teens who are quiet, gentle, and respectful. She likes her two dog friends but primarily needs humans to bond with. Someone who is often home (retired?) would be good for her. She would do well around calm, respectful kids.  October 19, 2024, 3:44 pm

Story
Mia is unbelievably friendly, very sweet and loving, and extremely active. She acts more like a puppy than anything. She loves to play with other dogs, and is respectful around cats.  Energy Level?  Can be very very active. House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on leash?  She loves to go for short walks. She can be a little barky with high energy on her walks, but is not aggressive or overly barky. Describe how they are with other dogs?  She gets along fantastic with the resident dog. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  She is respectful of the cats.  Commands they know?  I don’t know that she knows any. What are their favorite things?  She loves to play with her toys (Or anything she thinks is a toy), she loves to snuggle and dive under the blankets of the bed. She lets go for walks and see new things. She loves to play with the dog more than anything. She loves chew bones. What do they need to work on?  She can be a little mouthy when she licks you. She doesn’t do it to her, but she just gets very excited to give kisses. She can be naughty and will drag whatever she can into the backyard. Like my shoes, or kitchen sponge. She has dug a little bit in the backyard. She can jump on people out of excitement and happiness. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  She can be a little bit destructive if she finds a pencil on the ground… She will dig in the backyard dirt a little bit. But she does not seem to be too much of a barker. She will run outside to bark, but then come right back in. Where do they sleep?  She is crate trained, and sleeps in a crate. But she also loves to sleep under the blankets with you if you allow her. What is their ideal home?  She would love to be with another happy playful dog. With patient owners that understand that she is a puppy at heart, and she needs basic training and to be monitored initially. Story
Jasmine was adopted from Wags & Whiskers in Chico, CA. Her approximate birthday is 3/20/21. We were told she had given birth to two puppies while she was a 1 year old. She is a silly girl, who loves to sniff around on walks and is very food motivated. She loves to cuddle, sunbathe, and roll around in blankets. She is great with other dogs, and is curious but friendly to cats. She can sit and wait for her food and will eat when given the “OK” command. She is potty trained, but is still learning not to go when owners leave the house for long periods of time (4+ hours). She is a trauma dog, it takes her a bit of time to open up to people, but she loves pets and will go up to others even when she’s scared. She would be best in a home with 1 owner she can obsess over, but it may take her sometime to warm up to you. She needs a gentle, loving home that will give her the patience to open up and be the goofy girl who just wants love and attention.

Story
Marshmellow has lots of energy and is very loving. He loves his stuffed animals but is really good at trying to share them when he wants to play. He also likes to play and try to catch bubbles, butterflies, and flying leaves. He is a bit of a ball hog if you try to play catch with him, so a little "good job, good boy" helps him bring it back so you can throw it again. He is very protective, especially with little ones. You have to remind him he is not the kids lawyer, standing up for little ones is the only time he is sassy. He turned 1 April 6. He loves going on walks but tries to kiss everyone who walks by. He gets real excited to see other dogs. He smiles a lot and is such a love bug. My little one showed him how to hug and I had to stop him from trying to put his arms out to try to hug every dog who passed by. He was my little ones dog but we recently found out his biggest allergy is dogs. I would love him to find a home with a backyard and dog loving family.

Story
I got Milo when he was a puppy from the humane society in 2020. He is 4 years old and just recently got boosted on all his shots. We are looking for someone who will show him as much love and attention as possible. He is shy at first but once he knows you he is a really sweet dog. He’s not energetic and loves to cuddle and be around people. He gets along with smaller dogs but not with larger dogs.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonded Pair - ChipHoney is an approximately 1.5 year-old, 18 pound best of all breeds, AKA a mutt. Sweet Honey was found in a field with a group of 6 pups, including her friend, Chip.  Honey is an extraordinarily sweet dog. She is so affectionate, she seeks out physical contact as much as possible, preferably on your lap or chest. When she’s feeling playful, she loves to play fetch or play with squeaky toys. When it comes to any activity, she follows Chip's lead. Otherwise, she’s cuddled up with her humans. Honey came to SVPP very shut down, but once we placed her with Chip, she followed his lead and started to relax and trust. Ideally, she will be adopted with Chip. His presence and example of curiosity allows her to feel safe and be curious too. If he’s not around, she hides and can be timid. Under our veterinarian's guidance, Honey started anti-anxiety medication a few months ago and it has helped her tremendously. Adopter will need to continue this medication and work with their veterinary partner to monitor Honey's medication needs. Unexpected movements and loud noises may scare them, so she and Chip would do best in a home with no young children or other dogs unless well monitored.  Do you have the time and patience to help them continue to learn what it feels like to be safe, relaxed and loved? Please fill out an application today! Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.   Adoption fees for dogs: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our dogs are up to by following us on Facebook!  https://www.facebook.com/svpetproject SVPP thanks Alec Khanna photography for assistance in taking photos of our adoptable pets.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 3:54 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonded Pair - HoneyChip is a 9 pound, 2 year old Chihuahua with a big personality. This tiny boy was found in a field with a group of 6 dogs, including his friend, Honey, who is being fostered with him. He is a goofy, silly boy who constantly makes his foster family laugh. In addition to being exceptionally handsome, Chip is very intelligent and is quick to learn new skills.  Once he feels comfortable, he is so affectionate. He loves cuddles and scritches and will lick your face clean if you let him. He is also a little instigator, his family jokingly calls him Dennis the Menace. When asked how it is having Chip as a foster pup, his foster mom replied, "I can’t say enough about how fun it is to have him around!" Honey and Chip are very close and help each other to be brave, so we are hoping to place them together. They love to lay in the sun and lounge around in their foster Mom's office when she is working from home. Unexpected movements and loud noises may scare them, so they would do best in a home with no young children or other dogs unless well monitored.  Prior to adoption, all dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm, vaccinated (including rabies, if age appropriate) and microchipped.   Adoption fees for dogs: http://www.svpetproject.org/info/adoption Stay up-to-date on what our dogs are up to by following us on Facebook!  https://www.facebook.com/svpetproject Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 2, 2024, 3:54 pm
