It breaks our hearts, but we are looking for a new home for our beloved four-year-old Chihuahua mix, Sawyer. Sawyer is a deeply affectionate little dog who forms strong bonds with his person. Once he feels safe, he’s a true snuggle bug and loves being close. He greets his people with pure joy and gets so excited when everyone is home together. Sawyer is playful and sweet — he enjoys fetch (even if it becomes keep-away!) and loves chewing on his favorite cactus toy. He’s sensitive and does best in a calm, predictable environment. He can be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, his loving personality really shines. He bonds best with a primary female caregiver and would thrive in an adult-only home, as he’s fearful of men and has shown fear-based reactions around young children. He is generally good with other dogs with slow introductions and settles after initial barking when guests arrive. Sawyer is 20 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Honey Sue came to us through an unfortunate situation. She was mostly confined to indoors. Honey Sue had only known her family and never met another dog. Honey Sue has really blossomed, she is outgoing, loves her foster parents, plays outside with her friends. Her green eyes are very mischievous. She will need a little harness training. We are polishing up her potty manners. Since Honey Sue is still a puppy she will not do well left alone all day. If you have room in your heart and your family for a fun girl come and visit Honey Sue! Yards are necessary for reinforcing potty training.
