Story
Sunny was born in a dog shelter. We adopted him for our daughter during an adoption faire at our local PetSmart during COVID. Our daughter is now away in College and we can no longer take care of him. We love him though and would like to find a good new home for him. We believe he had a tough time during the first months of his life at the shelter. He is a loving fellow and deserve the same.

Story
Precious is part of a bonded pair. We inherited her from my mom after she went into a memory care facility. Precious is a 10 year old Chihuahua Mix that is fun and playful. She has been known to play catch every so often. She loved sitting close to my mom throughout the day and provided a sweet comfort as only a dog can do. Precious loves going for walks around the neighborhood, eating snacks, and getting lots of attention. About 8 years ago, Precious developed an autoimmune disorder that almost took her life. Thankfully, with treatments, she has been in remission since then; no longer requiring treatments. Something to note is that she cannot get annual vaccinations as this can push her out of remission. Precious remains spry and playful. She and her bonded buddy, Blacky, play randomly through the day with each other. They would be great for any home as they provide much love.

If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.   Adoption Fee: $650 Meet the Dynamic Duo of the Puppy Art World – Jackson Pollack & Andy Warhol! (Not actually siblings… just two masterpieces who came in together!) Jackson Pollack and Andy Warhol arrived at the shelter side-by-side, leading us to believe they were brothers. But after a closer look (and a peek at their ages!), we realized they’re more like two artists who met at the same gallery—completely different styles, both works of art! Though they’ve shared their foster home, these pups aren’t looking for a joint exhibit; they’re each ready for their own solo show in separate forever homes. Andy Warhol – The Pop Culture Pup with a Heart of GoldAge: 3 1/2 - 4 months old | Weight: 6 lbs (15-20 lbs full grown) Meet Andy Warhol, the tan Chihuahua whose personality is just as iconic and vibrant as his namesake’s art. Andy is the self-assured leader of this pairing, always ready to make an entrance with a wagging tail and playful spin. Sit on the floor, and you’ll find yourself the center of his playful universe—he’ll circle you, give happy licks, and happily accept belly rubs once he’s had his fill of frolicking. Andy thrives on outdoor adventures, loves chasing balls (though returning them is… let’s call it a “work in progress”), and has a special talent for turning a simple stick into a prized treasure. High-energy and social, Andy barks to say hello but settles quickly. When playtime ends, he’s all about the snuggles, especially if there’s a cozy blanket involved. Andy’s perfect home includes someone ready for puppy antics, outdoor fun, and plenty of cuddle sessions. Jackson Pollack – Abstract Energy in Puppy FormAge: 2.5 months | Weight: 3.5 lbs (10-12 lbs full grown) Like his namesake, Jackson Pollack is a burst of creative chaos, painting his world with energy and curiosity. This tiny black Terrier-Chihuahua mix may be small, but his personality splashes out in every direction. Initially a little shy, Jackson quickly warms up and transforms into a playful explorer. Whether he’s zipping around the yard like a brushstroke in motion, squeezing through tiny spaces, or collecting sticks as if they’re prized sculptures, Jackson brings joy with every move. When he’s not busy creating his next “masterpiece” of mischief, Jackson is a budding cuddle connoisseur—happy to snuggle up after a day of play. He’s working on potty pad training and loves following his people around like an artist seeking inspiration. If you’re looking for a tiny, spunky companion to brighten your canvas of life, Jackson is ready to make his mark! Separate Homes, Equally Loving Hearts:While Jackson and Andy started their journey together, they’re each ready to be the star of their own show. Both puppies adore people (including kids ages 8 and 11) and are looking for homes that can keep up with their playful energy. Whether you’re drawn to Jackson’s curious spirit or Andy’s affectionate leadership, you’ll be adopting a pup ready to fill your days with laughter, love, and plenty of puppy kisses. A Note About Puppies:Puppies are adorable, but they’re also a big commitment! Jackson and Andy are at that fun (and sometimes mischievous) stage where they’re learning about the world. Their future families should be ready for potty training, puppy-proofing, and plenty of supervision. Puppies require patience, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement to grow into well-mannered adults. Expect early mornings, occasional messes, and the need for frequent playtime and socialization. Puppy-proofing your home (and your favorite socks!) is essential, and chew toys are a must since they’re both in the teething stage. These boys thrive on attention and will do best in homes where someone can spend time with them throughout the day—whether you work from home or can take them along on adventures. In return, you’ll get unconditional love, endless puppy kisses, and a lifelong companion who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and the kind of happiness only a puppy can bring. If you’re ready to invest the time and energy into shaping a young pup into your perfect dog, Jackson Pollack or Andy Warhol is ready to start their next masterpiece—with you!   March 5, 2025, 11:29 am

Story
Sarina ParisTiny but full of love, Sarina Paris is a small, mixed-breed sweetheart weighing12 lbs. She has the wrinkles and curly tail of a pug, the wide eyes of a Chihuahua, and a slender build reminiscent of perhaps a terrier or a Gazelle! She has a beautiful coat in shades of the darkest chocolate, milk chocolate, and caramel!  She needs to gain another pound or two to be at a healthy weight. This young mama raised a litter of 6 puppies and is now ready to find an adoring forever home where you will be her #1 fan and she will be yours! The world is pretty scary for this pretty, wide-eyed gal. Angel Inside Though timid at first, Sarina is a gentle soul craving affection and understanding. She's been through a lot She’s been through a lot—she was a devoted mama nursing six puppies after being rescued from a hoarding house situaiton. Now, it’s her turn to be cared for and loved the way she deserves. With patience and kindness, Sarina will blossom into the most loyal and affectionate companion. Could you be the one to show her that love goes both ways? After decompressing for a few days, Sarina began to settle in to her foster family's routine. She is uncertain about quick movements and is slowly making new friends who offer her treats and let her climb on their laps when she's ready to do so. The world is big and scary for Sarina, but that doesn't stop her from seeking out cuddles from anyone hanging out on the couch and starting to carry around dog toys and follow her canine foster sibling around the house! A Perfect Home Sarina's perfect home will include another happy, calm, confident dog to help her find her footing as she keeps adjusting to having a pampered pet's life. Her family will understand that she will need a little more time than most rescued pets to settle into her routine and learn to trust her new family. After a week in her foster home, Sarina went on her first walk. She likes to trot around the neighborhood and take it all in! She's still learning her leash habits and is a little bit of a trip hazard, as she startles easily. Garbage trucks, bikes, and passing cars are all things she studies cautiously before continuing on her walks. Sarina sleeps in her crate at night, eats her meals in her crate, and has pretty good potty habits when she is taken out regularly (about 4 times a day for now). She enjoys curling up on the couch or in a dog bed and is quick to follow you to the kitchen for treats! She would love a home that's on the less chaotic side where people are home more than they are not (but wouldn't we all!) and where she can regularly cuddle with her people. Sarina will make friends quickly with those who come bearing treats, a heaping dose of patience, and the understanding that you'll get her trust much faster if you sit down and let her come to you on her terms. When her foster family comes home, she greets them with happy bounces and tail wags -- her personality gets a little bit bolder, more relaxed, and more playful with each passing day. She deserves a forever home that will give her the time and space she needs to relax. Your patience will go a tremendously long way in giving this tentative pup a home where she can glow up into her best self! Sarina's foster family is working to slowly introduce her to all the good things in a dog's life: neighborhood walks, making new people and animal friends, playing with toys (she like to chase balls and stuffies), and letting her perfect her zoomies in a securely fenced-in yard. This pet has been spayed/neutered and is ready to be adopted. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit.
