Story
Keanu is a happy-go-lucky little dude! This sweet senior loves to play with his toys! Keanu also loves to go for walks in the neighborhood and even enjoys car rides! He follows his foster family everywhere they go. Keanu is housebroken as well. He gets along great with smaller dogs and pays no attention to the big ones when he meets them. Keanu does have a chronic condition called Spondylosis in his spine. He is on medication for this and will be for life. This doesn’t seem to slow him down but it is why we recommend a home with older children and small dogs so as to not risk injury. Keanu does great on his meds and doesn’t seem to be in pain. Pax, very well mannered boy, who is potty trained and crate trained, most of all, is very loving and needs lots of attention. He is very curious about everything when we take our walks. He has had some training due to being dog reactive, not aggressive, just very vocal.  He loves to play with his toys if someone plays with him. He would do best in an home with older children or no children and a calmer environment.  He doesn’t mind if you handle him and put clothes on him as I did this morning. He needed a raincoat and allowed me to put it on him. He loves to eat and is right there in the kitchen when I am fixing food. He can be calm and lays next to me on the couch. Currently located in Murrieta January 24, 2025, 10:13 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.When we met Jager, he was a hefty 25 pounds -- ridiculously overweight. It took awhile for him to slim down, but he's now a svelte 12 pounds. He's happier, much healthier, and way more active than he was originally. We got Jager when one of the vets with whom we work contacted us and said his owners had brought him to the vet clinic and asked that he be euthanized. They contended he was nippy and said they no longer wanted him.  Maybe the reason for that was that, in addition to being in pain from carrying double the weight he should have been, he had Cushing's disease, which causes the adrenal glands to produce too much of a certain hormone, usually cortisol. This can cause a dog to be hyperalert and uncomfortable, certainly something that could cause nippiness. Jager has been on medication for Cushing's for a while now, and he's a different dog. He loves to hang out with people and other dogs, and there's not a mean bone in his body. Trixie is a 7.9 lb., 3-year-old sweet girl. She came to us as a very fearful street dog from Mexico with her 2 puppies and she has blossomed into the most social girl you will ever meet! She walks on leash, loves car rides, and is the true little greeter to all she meets. She loves to play with toys and all her buddies at our rescue facility. She will make an amazing little companion doggie. As with all our dogs we highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure proper training. This super social butterfly is looking for her forever home. The adoption fee is $400 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). Casper and his siblings were born on 10/14/2024 to, Momma Cindy a Dachshund mix and is also all white as were all her puppies. The puppies have been raised with our rescue since they were born and are now super happy, healthy, playful and social little puppies. He is very tiny so no small children or large breed dogs please. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well behaved and well-rounded puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed).
