Story
My husband got her for me earlier this year and she is our other dogs companion. But our space is too small and our schedules too busy to keep them. She was born on New Year’s Day 2024. Very energetic and needs lots of chew toys. She loves wood so having wooden toys can really solve her chewing problems. In my eyes she’s still a baby that wants lots of love.

Story
Remi was given to us by a client who had found her, she was very small and sweet and has stayed that way. She loves to cuddle, knows how to fetch and enjoys taking walks in the sun. We are sadly having to relocate to my home country of England and cannot afford the shipping costs to take Remi with us. We love Remi dearly and want her to go to a home where she can snuggle in blankets and cuddle up with someone who gives back the love she gives out. She is crate and potty trained but will occasionally have accidents in the house if she is left too long without a bathroom break (tiny bladder) Remi is around 9 months old and would thrive if she had another dog to play with or an owner with lots of time to play fetch with her tiny toys!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Chihuahua dachsund mix I'm Jasper Manfrotto. I am a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix with an amputated left hind leg, though you'd never tell from the way I run. My foster dad says I have a Corgi face.   I love go out for walks, and can run really fast. I have a little internal compass, and insist on heading east all the time, though I can be persuaded to go north, or south. I will even go west, if you ask really nicely. My favorite thing in the world though, are belly rubs and head scratches.   I am a very sweet, and quiet. I do not have a single mean bone in me. more info about Jasper:    Jasper weighs a mere 9 lbs. He was found in the streets with a severe fracture of his back leg that had to be amputated. If you are looking for a 9-month-old, handsome lil shadow who loves to cuddle, he is your pup! Ace is a 14 pound chihuahua mix.  Ace can be a bit shy at first but is great with new people, dogs and all kiddos! (He is currently living with a toddler who he is great with.) Potty training has been good, but he is a pup and still needs a little more guidance. He would benefit from a home who has a dog and/or are home most of the day, to help build his confidence. He is a dream on a walk and is not reactive.  Although car rides are still a bit scary for him, he is learning it usually takes him to a fun restaurant with his own water bowl!  He is finding his love for fetching and loves a squeaky toy! Can you give Ace the very best home?  His adoption fee is $350.  A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. She is a love bug and a cuddler. She loves to snuggle in your lap or right next to you and really wants to sleep in her guardian’s bed at night. Madonna is making strides in walking on a leash but also really likes to be carried, especially in a dog sling. She is starting to play with toys as she gains confidence, and she’s a bit mischievous, sometimes trying to sneak away with a slipper or sock. Madonna is house trained, and she has been very quiet in a noisy neighborhood. Her foster has only heard her bark a few times, and it is just to alert. She’s been left home alone for short periods and is not barking when foster mom gets back.  Madonna was picked up as a stray but was definitely a pet. She’s so cute and gets lots of attention when she is out and about. She came in with another stray and was very loving and protective of him, so she should do great with other dogs, or as only dog if she didn’t have to spend too much time alone. She’s very quiet and calm on car rides, but has thrown up a little on longer rides, so will not be a big traveler. She’s ready to love again and will bond quickly with her new family. Please ask to meet this special little dog. She is so much fun!  She is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
