Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption fee: $650 Meet Roulette: A Little Chocolate Gem with a Heart Full of Love Roulette is a 10–12 month old, 8-pound Chihuahua mix with the most stunning chocolate-colored coat— and an even more beautiful personality to match. This tiny girl has quickly become a beloved member of her foster family, charming everyone she meets with her gentle spirit, wiggly greetings, and world-class cuddling skills. She may be small in size, but her capacity for love is absolutely enormous. A Day in the Life of Roulette Roulette starts her mornings around 7:30–8:00 am after sleeping peacefully through the night in her crate right next to her foster family’s bed. She has been a champion sleeper from day one! First thing in the morning, she heads outside with the resident dog, Benji, to take care of business. Breakfast comes shortly after— either right away or about an hour later once her appetite kicks in. During the day, Roulette enjoys a balanced routine of playtime, backyard adventures, and cozy downtime. She loves to run around outside, check in for snuggles, and play with her toys. Potty breaks happen about every couple of hours, which helps keep her on track. If the weather cooperates, she’s always excited for a nice walk, happily strolling for 20–45 minutes at a time. At night, the household winds down around 11:00 pm with one last potty trip before she settles into her crate and sleeps soundly until morning. From Shy Arrival to Total Sweetheart When Roulette first arrived, she was understandably nervous and unsure of her new surroundings. For the first few hours, she stayed tucked safely inside her travel crate while her foster family gave her time to decompress. But it didn’t take long for her true personality to shine. By the very next day, she had started to come out of her shell— and what emerged was one of the sweetest, most loving little dogs you could imagine. Roulette is a classic “velcro dog” who forms a strong bond with her person. She loves everyone in the household, but she will likely choose a special favorite to shadow throughout the day. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, then settle nearby with a toy or curl up for a nap once she knows you’re close. She’s also an excellent work companion— quiet, calm, and perfectly content to keep you company while you focus on your tasks. Professional Snuggler, Expert Comfort-Giver Roulette gives truly exceptional cuddles. She has an amazing talent for finding the coziest spot— whether it’s tucked into the crook of your arm or resting her head on your belly— and drifting off to sleep within minutes. There’s something incredibly soothing about holding her; her gentle presence has a calming, grounding effect that her foster family absolutely adores. Dog- and Kid-Friendly Companion Roulette currently lives with a resident dog named Benji, and their relationship is heart-melting. She is respectful of his space but always ready to share affection when he’s in the mood. In fact, her foster family says Benji has bonded with her more quickly than with any previous foster— a true testament to her kind and easygoing nature. She has also done wonderfully with the family’s two teenage kids, happily soaking up attention and fitting right into the household routine. Playful When It’s Time, Chill When It’s Not Roulette strikes that perfect balance between fun and relaxation. She enjoys playtime and outdoor adventures, but she also knows how to lounge peacefully when the household is busy. She’s very much a “go with the flow” kind of dog who adapts to the energy around her. Great on Leash and Eager to Please Walking with Roulette is a joy. She walks nicely on leash, doesn’t pull, and frequently looks up to check in with her person— just to make sure everyone is doing okay. It’s a small gesture that perfectly captures her sweet, attentive nature. Smart, Trainable, and Nearly There Roulette arrived mostly potty trained and has been doing great with her routine. She hasn’t had accidents with pee, and with a consistent feeding schedule and supervision, her remaining potty habits should be easy to fine-tune. She’s responsive to guidance, eager to please, and already shows wonderful manners around the home. Why Everyone Falls in Love with Roulette There’s something truly special about this little girl. She has a gentle, calming presence that makes people feel instantly at ease.
