Story
BUSTER comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he spent his entire life from birth in a tiny pet carrier along with his siblings. He has come a long way with socialization and would flourish with the right guardian. He would love to be a lap-dog and also enjoys exploring outside. (Also from the same situation: CHEWY) They are very affectionate and would just like a place to call home and a Person to call family. Since these boys have had to "fight" for lap-space and attention, they have a tendency to mark territory which should die down after they are neutered (part of adoption contract). They are used to using potty pads and have learned to also go outside, but they will all still need some work with potty training. Once they are neutered and have a lap of their own that they don't have to "defend", potty training should be a cinch. This crew also would work really well in a FOSTER home that can give them more socialization, potty training, and household manners such as barking. Specifically, we really NEED A FOSTER during the months of JUNE & JULY while I am out of town for a 7-week dog-training seminar. Please hit us up if you have any interest in BUSTER or his crew! ADOPTION FEE: Cost of neuter at clinic of your choice. Valley Canine Specialists Admin@ValleyCanine.org (209)280-0892

Please have lots of durable ones! He loves his chew toys, especially his Nyla bones. He is a curious creature who loves to go everywhere. He likes walks on a leash, rides in the car, going out to eat in the stroller. He is mostly potty trained and knows how to use the doggie door. He will use a puppy pad if he has to. He is crate trained but he would love to sleep in your bed. He is neutered and up to date on his shots and will be micro-chipped. Dawson would prefer a home with other dogs who like to play. Story
Taco is a handsome 13 month old Chihuahua weighing in at 7.2 LBS. It sounds like you've had quite an adventure and have shown a lot of resilience. It's understandable to feel a bit nervous, especially after suddenly losing your human and adjusting to a new environment with other dogs. Neighbors of his human reached out to AFC to see if they could find me the perfect home. It's wonderful that you've found a caring foster mom and organization and are getting the love you deserve. Taco has the sweetest personality. Given your history as a solo pet, it makes sense that you might prefer a home where you can be the center of attention. A small dog buddy might be nice, but it sounds like you're adaptable too! I love sitting on a warm lap and would love a work from home family. It's great to hear that you're learning good potty habits; with a little patience and encouragement in a new home, you'll get the hang of it in no time. Traveling with you is a bonus-it sounds like you'll be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys outings. I'm already vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, which is a plus for prospective adopters! I will fill your heart and home with Love and Joy when you adopt me.
