Meet the precious Frankie. He is 1 year -old (DOB 04/08/25), 16-pound, Chihuahua/Spaniel mix with warm brown eyes (his mother Rosie is a Spaniel mix) his father must have been a Chihuahua. He is slightly shy but once he’s used to you, he is loving and attentive. Frankie is friendly with other GENTLE dogs and needs a home with an existing dog. He prefers dogs his own size. He is a playful loving little guy. His pregnant mom Rosie was rescued by a local groomer. He was born in her home and she found homes for the rest of his litter but Rosie and Frankie came to AFC. FOSTERING SAVES LIVES! Frankie is bonded to his mom Rosie. He uses a doggie door to go outside to potty but may need some reinforcement with is house training. He is leash trained, has been neutered. Buster has come a long way! He is curious and adventuresome but will stay right by your side, what's known as a "velcro" dog. He loves to lounge on the bed with you or go for a walk and sneak up behind you for kisses! He would love to go everywhere with you and is just learning to love car rides. He does well with most other dogs and does not get in fights; currently friends with an American bully "pocket pit" (Dahlilah, also listed with our rescue). He LOVES his crate and is learning to walk on leash. AND he would like me to tell you that he must have blankets to burrow under. :-) If you cannot find him, he is under his pile of blankets! Meet the precious Frankie. He is 1 year -old (DOB 04/08/25), 16-pound, Chihuahua/Spaniel mix with warm brown eyes (his mother Rosie is a Spaniel mix) his father must have been a Chihuahua. He is slightly shy but once he’s used to you, he is loving and attentive. Frankie is friendly with other GENTLE dogs and needs a home with an existing dog. He prefers dogs his own size. He is a playful loving little guy. His pregnant mom Rosie was rescued by a local groomer. He was born in her home and she found homes for the rest of his litter but Rosie and Frankie came to AFC. Buster has come a long way! He is curious and adventuresome but will stay right by your side, what's known as a "velcro" dog. He loves to lounge on the bed with you or go for a walk and sneak up behind you for kisses! He would love to go everywhere with you and is just learning to love car rides. He does well with most other dogs and does not get in fights; currently friends with an American bully "pocket pit" (Dahlilah, also listed with our rescue). He LOVES his crate and is learning to walk on leash. AND he would like me to tell you that he must have blankets to burrow under. :-) If you cannot find him, he is under his pile of blankets! What is included In adoption fee for dogs Spayed or neutered. Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them) Rabies vaccination (if old enough). De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped. A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3.
