Meet Que! He is a silly, goofy, lap dog, loves balls/toys, and is fully housetrained. Que likes the lap dog part quite a bit. He is, around 11 years old, and a perfect 16 pounds of snuggly goodness. Que's foster mom recently said that he is 'such a sweetheart. Has lots of energy, loves to greet you at the door and is so happy you are home. He loves his toys to play with on his own or with you. He'd be an excellent dog for someone who works from home or is just a homebody in general' Que also loves his canine friends, too. New people can cause some anxiety - when you are small, it's hard to know if people are friend or foe, you know? But, once he knows you, it's nothing but love. A while ago, Que lost his human family and ended up in the shelter. He had dental issues (all clear now!), skin issues (all clear now!), hadn't been neutered (all gone now!), and was so grumpy that the vet couldn't even examine him (much better now!). Basically his prior owners didn't take good care of him. TLRD fixed all of that and now I am like a different dog. There is only one thing that could be better in his life...you. Hammy is sweet, gets along with other dogs, and has the cutest apple-shaped noggin you’ll ever see. Although she’s a senior, she still has plenty of energy for playing pickle ball, knitting, and telling you about all the neighborhood gossip. Here’s some notes from her foster: Gail is a petite, short legged chi who wants to be your best friend. She can be shy at first but warms up quickly and then just wants to be nearby her favorite person/people. She would likely do well as an only dog or with a pal to hang with, especially if you are away from home a lot. Being that she is small and in her senior years, we believe she would be fine with children who are older, respectful, kind and gentle with her. Hammy is housebroken and has not had an accident inside. She eats well and has put on a little weight, which she needed. Since we don't have stairs, we don't know if she will be great at stairs or not. She mostly hangs out in her bed at my feet but also checks out the world at the living room window. She has a little bark when new people come to the house but will stop when you tell her to. She is okay at home alone (with my other dog) but will whine a bit at first, then settles in her bed until you return. She clearly would prefer to go with you on your adventures!

According to my DNA test, I'm 57% Chihuahua, 14% Miniature Pinscher, 8% Shih Tzu, 5% Maltese, 5% Cocker Spaniel, 4% Bichon Frise, 3% Toy Poodle, 2% Pomeranian, and 2% Chinese Shar-Pei. According to my foster family, I am 100% adorable and sweet. I was found abandoned as a puppy in a desert town in Arizona with three of my siblings. They actually had to get a specialist to trap us and it took multiple times to catch us because we were smart and, honestly, pretty scared of humans after being so alone like that. While I still take time to warm up to new people, I want their attention and especially, walks!!! I’m a really sweet and loving dog once you let me get to know you. I am also a one-of-a-kind silly boy with lots of leaps, skips, funny sounding barks (only when I’m super happy— I’m not a big barker), and doggie dances that show you how happy I am! I am also a great friend to other friendly dogs of all sizes and ages (and friendly with bunnies too, so probably would be fine with cats)! I’d actually do best in a home with another well-socialized and confident companion dog (or two or three!) because that is the fastest way to get me to trust the humans in the house and learn all the house rules — I copy the dogs!
