FOSTER CARE! Hello, I'm Artie! I'm a 3-and-a-half-year-old, 13lbs., neutered male, Chihuahua/Pomeranian/Poodle mix with the most adorable underbite you've ever seen! When I came into the shelter, I was really shy, so I went into a foster home, where I could practice being brave and meeting new people. I've made a lot of progress, but I still get nervous when encountering strangers, so I'll need an adopter who will continue working on my socialization. Once we're buddies and I trust you, you'll see that I'm a happy, friendly, playful guy who loves his toys -- especially tennis balls! I do well at the groomer, I'm housetrained and crate trained, and I walk politely on leash. Overall, I'm a silly little guy who loves to play but also enjoys settling down and hanging with my people. We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
