Story
Hi! Rue is a 6year old doggo that I've had for roughly 4 years. She was found tied outside of a shelter with another group of dogs, so not much is known about her upbringing. She's extremely shy, noise-sensitive, and wary of people and other dogs, but is not aggressive. Once she feels comfortable around you, she'll instinctively lay back and paw you for belly rubs. If you stop giving her belly rubs, she'll keep pawing until you give her belly rubs. She is relatively independent and prefers her own space, preferring to sleep in her bed. However, she has severe separation anxiety — she begins crying and howling if I leave and will need a experienced owner and trainer who has the resources and mental capacity to train her. Unfortunately, due to my mental health, I am no longer able to care for her. For her future dog parent, I'd like to keep in contact to know how she's doing. Since there is not enough words for me to describe her, please message me if you have any questions.

Story
Cisco  is a playful, affectionate, happy little guy who enjoys chasing balls (his favorite) or small plushy toys, sofa cuddle time, long walks, playing at the dog park, treats, and mealtimes. He needs a little time to build trust with his humans before his wonderfully sweet and cuddly personality comes out. The short wait is so worth it! Energy Level?  Medium  House trained?  Yes Describe how they are on a leash?   Cisco  pulls a bit on the leash, but otherwise does very well.  Describe how they are with other dogs?  He generally ignores other dogs at first, but when he encounters one he feels comfortable with, he initiates play. If  Cisco  feels the other dog has crossed a boundary by playing too roughly, he will try to correct them. He's small but mighty! Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  He's good with respectful dogs. He has met one dod savvy cat, and he initially barked at him.  Commands they know? Sit What are their favorite things?  Playing fetch with balls (his favorite) or small plushy toys, sofa cuddle time, long walks, playing at the dog park, treats, and mealtimes. What do they need to work on?  Building confidence with new people, and would benefit from more obedience training. He is a very smart little guy and would learn quickly. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He's fine being left alone. He will sleep.  Where do they sleep?  He is fine sleeping in a crate or just on a bed on the floor. What is their ideal home?  He would do well in a quiet, adult-only household, either as an only dog or with other respectful dogs. Cisco is 6 years old and 7 pounds. Our Adoption fee is $325.     For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online application at www.everypetsdream.org/adopt. Story
Baxter  is a sweet senior boy who joined our rescue after his family of 11 years moved out of the country. At just 4.5 pounds, he is a tiny little guy with a big personality. He is adjusting to his new life and would love nothing more than to spend his golden years with a family to call his own. Baxter is a bit hot and spicy and is not shy about letting you know if you are misbehaving. Since he has no teeth, his “corrections” are all gums, loud sounds, and a little slobber. It is more comedy than anything else. Energy Level?  Low.  House trained?  Yes. However, we have used belly bands to discourage marking, and it is working! Describe how they are on a leash?  He walks nicely on a leash, but also doesn't mind a good push in a stroller Describe how they are with other dogs?  Baxter is great with all dogs, big and small, and even tolerated a large breed puppy. He is currently fostered  with several dogs Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they?  Baxter is good with cats.   Commands they know?  It's time for dinner :-)  What are their favorite things?  He loves to explore the backyard and enjoy the sun.  What do they need to work on?   He is slow to warm up to new people, very spicy, and will try to gum you and slobber all over you since he doesn't have any teeth to bite you with.   How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone?  He’s fine left alone. We leave him in a pen when he is alone.  He does not potty in his pen.   Where do they sleep?  He sleeps in his bed in a pen. What is their ideal home?   Baxter would do best with someone who appreciates his spicy little personality. With new people or if he feels someone is fussing with him too much, he may growl or give a gummy snap warning. Remember, he has no teeth, so it is mostly sounds and slobber. He would be happy in a home with or without other dogs. Baxter is a simple guy who enjoys the easy life. Give him a fluffy bed, good food, and a calm home, and he will be perfectly content. The Adoption fee is $325.   For adoption consideration or to meet our dogs , please complete our online adoption application at  www.everypetsdream.org/adopt .
