Story
Lil Miss Gigi is about as sweet as they come. Her favorite thing in the world is to curl up next to the person she loves. Unlike many chihuahuas she’s not a barker at all. However, she will squeal with delight and do a little dance when her favorite person comes home. Unlike most dogs Gigi doesn’t bond with who feeds her but bonds who sleeps with her so if your someone that doesn’t let your pup sleep with you, she’s not going to be the best fit. She’s a dog that needs as much human contact as she can get. Gigi is housebroken but being so tiny she has a small bladder and needs to be taken outside in the morning when she wakes up and a couple times a day. She’s fine through the night. Gigi does fine with other animals but due to her size we’d prefer no rambunctious big dogs as we don’t want her trampled. She still needs to be spayed which the rescue will cover prior to finalizing her adoption.

If you are looking for a 11-month-old, handsome lil shadow who loves to cuddle, he is your pup! Ace is a 14 pound chihuahua mix.  Ace can be a bit shy at first but is great with new people, dogs and all kiddos! (He is currently living with a toddler who he is great with.) Potty training has been good, but he is a pup and still needs a little more guidance. He would benefit from a home who has a dog and/or are home most of the day, to help build his confidence. He is a dream on a walk and is not reactive.  Although car rides are still a bit scary for him, he is learning it usually takes him to a fun restaurant with his own water bowl!  He is finding his love for fetching and loves a squeaky toy! Can you give Ace the very best home?  His adoption fee is $350.  A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.   Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
