Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
He was my uncle’s dog, but he passed away last weekend. Nobody in my family can keep him despite how much we want to. He’s a great dog as far as I can tell, good with people, not so good with other animals. I really hope someone out there can help give him the love, patience, and good home he deserves.

Story
Oh boy. Blitzen is appropriately named because he is a fireball of energy, love, enthusiasm and kisses. He can climb fences and will do just about anything to stay with his people at all times. You would never know he is 8 years young since he has the energy of a puppy. He’s barely 6 pounds so he can travel everywhere easily and will insist on doing so. Please apply if you’re lucky enough to be able to be with your dogs all the time. Blitzen will not do well at home alone all day and a dog as special as this one, deserves the entire world. He would do best with other female dogs or no dogs at all. His ideal human will center their entire existence around his every whim.

Story
We are so in love with this little 4 year old bundle of joy. Parker loves all humans and most dogs. He’s alpha so he does not like other alpha males. He’s only 8 pounds but he will do best with female dogs or older submissive males. Parker loves toys and the company of humans but he does not have separation anxiety. He seldom barks and loves to play fetch. He does tend to guard his toys and food but he corrects quickly and always aims to please. Parker is soft like a bunny and sweet like a muffin. He’s leash trained and housebroken. He did mark all over the shelter when he first arrived but this seems to have subsided drastically since his neuter. To meet Parker is to love him.

Story
Our amazing Bartholomew came to us while he was at death’s door. He was painfully thin with severe dental disease. We could not touch his head, not even his ears, he was in so much pain. We’re not sure how old he is but we’d guess between 10-12 years (and about the same number of pounds). We neutered him and fixed his mouth. The infection was terrible but he recovered quickly and started to eat almost immediately! Now he’s a legit ranch dog! He comes out to feed the goats, horses and pig every morning and night, he plays, and then runs back to the house. Truth be told, he’s a bit arthritic and stiff so “play” and “run” are relative in this regard but he does the cutest gallop and sometimes his back end goes faster than his front end but he always manages to stay upright and he always knows where his foster mama is. Bartholomew loves to sleep in bed with his human and the other dogs, but he’s also content to sleep in a cozy bed on the floor. He can’t get up and down from the bed on his own so he will need his own “staff” for lifting, etc. Bartholomew’s transformation in our care has been nothing shy of spectacular. He is pure love inside and out. His coat went from sad and dull to shiny and vibrant. His personality has always been charming. If you’re looking for an older gentleman to brighten your days Bartholomew is your man.

Story
[Note: The first pictures of Malala are the most recent ones (5/12/26). As you can see, these puppies are growing up, and we are happy to report that their skin and fur are looking great!] If Malala and her littermates get their mama‘s personality, the world is in for a lot more love. Their mom, Greta, is the sweetest dog we’ve ever met - and we’ve met a lot! Mom is just 8 pounds and the pups are also on the tiny side. They are just 8.5 weeks as of this posting (born 1/23/26) and they’re still nursing. We know nothing about their father, but they have the best dog mom in the world, clearly. These pups came from a pretty sad and filthy hoarding situation so they have some skin issues which are clearing up, thanks to our wonderful veterinarian and proper care. There is a patch of missing hair that is growing back on Malala‘s little head. She is just a sweetheart. She’s much fluffier than her siblings and is sweet like her mom. Malala and her siblings will all be spayed and fully vaccinated prior to finalizing any adoption.
