Munchie loves to be loved! He is a handsome, 10 year old Chihuahua mix who is young at heart and loves doing zoomies in the park, sunbathing, and burrowing under blankets. He is an active senior dog and loves going on walks. A good day for him is full of belly rubs, butt scratches, and snuggling up next to you in a blanket. Chasing a squirrel would be a bonus! When inside the house he will cuddle up right next to you while watching TV and loves to play chase. Did somebody say treat?! He is very food motivated (hence the name). He loves snacks, treats and loves to watch while you are in the kitchen fixing meals. He gets along pretty well with most dogs his size and needs a little time to warm up to bigger dogs. He loves all of his dog buddies big and small! No cats - he will bark at them. Munchie is part of a bonded pair with Pinky a 5lb Deerhead Chihuahua (that's him in the snail costume) and I prefer for them to be adopted together.

Missy with her multicolored fluffy coat and baby fox-like face will charm you and is clearly the one in charge. Owen is a level-headed, sweet little boy who just wants to meet you and get some love.These two are seniors at about 10 yrs old, but their comedy stylings haven’t slowed down at all. In fact, their act may be more refined. Owen is the straight man- quiet, purposeful, measured, focused and generous with his affection. Missy is the high energy- goofy, silly, intentional, focus pulling, and agile. The 2 of them together are just a joy to be around. They offer everything you could want and are both tiny! They would love to be in a quieter home with plenty of comfy spots to nap in. They’ll love to go on walks with you and help make sure the postal worker knows to keep it moving after your mail is dropped off. They will keep each other company while you’re at work and welcome you home with tons of joy (and Owen will 100% rat out Missy if she gets into mischief). Senior pups do require patience and willingness to keep on top of their health and the needs we all have as we get older- but they will return that effort by loving you every moment of the day. Cooper is a 6-year-old Chihuahua/Corgi mix, he weighs about 20 lbs. He was found wandering the streets in Los Angeles, the Shelter that picked him up thinks he was abandoned by his previous owners. He gets along OK with other dogs but is fine being the only dog in the household. He will sometimes bark at other dogs on his walks, but we think he just wants to meet them. He’s a big cuddler, loves toys, bully sticks and loves belly rubs, he’s always flipping over on his back hoping for a belly rub. He waits to be invited onto the couch and will come up and want to cuddle. He is best suited in a household with no children. He’s very friendly, sweet and affectionate. Willow is a very pretty 2 year old chihuahua that weighs 9 lbs. All we know is that Willow was found by a guy who kept her locked in his bedroom over the garage away from the rest of the family. Often he would leave home for 10 days and in that time Willow would not be fed. We have no idea what else happened to her while prisoner in that room. Dear little Willow is now out of that awful situation and waiting for a caring, forever home. Due to her past life, Willow at times has extreme anxiety. When she encounters someone new, she does not just bark as many dogs will do but she does a dog equivalent of screaming. Once she feels comfortable with a person, or situation she is fine. At times there seems to be no rhyme or reason to her moods as she can be in a situation that many dogs would find stressful, yet she is just fine. In view of her personality, we feel she definitely needs to be adopted into not just a loving, caring home but a patient one. A home where she will be given time to decompress and feel secure. Having a session, or two with a behaviorist could be helpful. Her foster home loves her, finds her to be very sweet, dainty and well mannered. As is her case with people, once Willow is comfortable, she enjoys the company of other dogs. She gets along beautifully with the other dogs in her foster home and even the cat. Willow walks beautifully on a leash and is fine in the car. She has a bark that is definitely bigger than her bite, as she has she has never bitten!
