Story
I'm a sweet and sensitive girl who can't wait to bring years of loving canine joy into your home! I am at just the right age to enjoy getting exercise in the neighborhood or at the park, having fun with stuffies, and then relaxing with you in my favorite comfy spots in the house. Maybe I can curl up next to you while we catch the latest Netflix? Sounds great to me. Please know I do have a ongoing condition which requires straight-forward meds, and will thrive best in a mellow home (no young kids, please). Feel free to inquire for more information. With just a little extra TLC, I will blossom my affection and be your loving companion for now and always! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 2.17 Age: 6yrs 6mths 2wks

Story
Meghan and her sisters, Missy, Ariana, and Kim were found abandoned in a pile of garbage when they were just weeks old.  They were taken into foster to grow up healthy and happy with proper nutrition and good veterinary care.  When they come to us as babies, they grow to be good-natured, playful, happy and sweet used to interacting with people and other dogs at the foster's house, they generally interact well with people and different sized dogs.  We are naming our pups after musical artists and this girl is named after Meghan Trainor because she is sassy and funny, but it's possible we should have named her Taylor because she's rather 'delicate' in appearance.   She is 11 months old and 11.2  lbs currently.  We think she is a Chihuahua mixed with .... a longer legged dog, like an Italian Greyhound maybe?  We are often not sure of lineage but we think that she will is almost fully grown.  She is sweet and lovely, quite friendly.  She really likes people and other dogs.  She sleeps on a dog bed with the other dogs and is pad trained at the foster's house.  We ask that you forgive the blurry tail photos - it never stops wagging.   Meghan will have her videos posted over at our website:  4dogsfarmrescue.org/Available-dogs.html so scroll down until you see her name so you can watch them.  You can also fill out an application for her while you're there, or email us if you already have an application in and think she is the girl for you!   Meghan will come to you spayed and completely vetted. ADOPTION FEE: $475.00 ##1704959##

Story
We are looking to rehome our dog, Tina. She has been with us since she was 6 months old and now she is about 9. Tina was born deaf and has had her teeth removed with no issues for about a year now. She eats soft food well. We work long hours and have a four year old and another on the way, so the joy we used to take from spending time with her now feels like a chore. She is is a lovely dog and would do well in any home after a brief "getting to know you" phase. Knows how to use a dog door.

Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereThis dog is available to meet by appointment only. Aw, Magoo, we knew you were overwhelmed at the shelter, but you’re an affectionate good boy under that stressed exterior! This goofy and entertaining 18-pound youngster is looking for an understanding home to help him blossom into a confident companion. Magoo thrives in the company of other dogs and is happiest with his canine foster siblings. He loves to entertain himself while his foster parent works from home, busying himself with toys, blankets, and dog beds, often rearranging them around the house. He enjoys solo play, tossing and fetching toys for himself, but also loves curling up on a sunny cushion or nearby piece of furniture for a peaceful nap. He is very attuned and responsive to all beings, including grumpy dogs. Magoo takes correction well, walking away from any behavior that gets a negative response. He loves company and expresses his joy by dancing around, wagging his tail, and offering gentle licks to outstretched hands or feet. If you give him scritches, he’ll melt into your lap, quickly settling down for a nap. Magoo is mostly housetrained and crate-trained. He shows some initial anxiety when left alone but generally settles down in his crate, which he often chooses to enter when feeling uncertain or just to nap. This charming pup would thrive in a home with other dogs of any size who are willing to play. Older, gentle, and patient kids or adults who can meet him where he’s at will be essential. He’s an independent guy who can entertain himself with his antics, but he will take time to warm up to humans. A fenced yard is crucial, as he loves to run and sniff around, and he's not progressed to leash walks yet. Despite his rough start, Magoo is becoming a resilient, joyful, and social dog. Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereThis dog is available to meet by appointment only. Stacy came into the shelter confused and scared but with her curious nature and affinity for other dogs, she has started to relax and take it all in. She is clearly a smart girl and has already learned a lot by observing the other dogs. While still shy, she happily takes treats from volunteers' hands and allows a gentle pet or two. She is also learning to walk on leash by simply following other dogs and doing what they do. In a quiet home with an experienced adopter and a confident canine sibling, we think Stacy will blossom into an affectionate pup who fully embraces the good life of comfy dog beds, yummy treats, and a family of her own. Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereThis dog is available to meet by appointment only. Though barely out of puppyhood, creamy chi-mix Garth has had a rough start to life and is looking for an angel adopter who will give him all the love and care he deserves. Brought in as a stray, he is overwhelmed by the shelter environment and shy with volunteers, likely due at least in part to issues with his back legs, which appears to be congenital. Garth is mobile and gets around in his own way, enjoys playing with stuffed toys and the company of other gentle dogs, and is starting to learn the value of tasty treats. Garth would do best in a quiet home without stairs, preferably with a confident yet gentle pup who can show him how to dog. Is there room in your heart and home to help this young boy live a full and happy life?
