Baxter is a people's dog! Here's what one of our wonderful volunteers had to say about him after a hike! "I took Baxter out for a hike today with my dog and he was great on leash. He is excellent with other dogs, non reactive and played well with my dog on the beach. He is friendly and comes over to you if you crouch down and took treats. He was noticeably nervous getting in and out of the car, but was fine once we got going. He definitely needs some confidence building in changing environments but is a great size guy and will make a great addition to an experienced dog owner home."

Notes from her foster: We're the foster family for Irene and want to report that she is doing GREAT! We've had for about 3 months and she is overcoming her shyness. We took her Cesar Chavez Park the other day and she was running, chasing us, and sniffing other doggies. Seems to like kids. Very much a cuddler and likes ear scratches and tummy rubs.
