Story
Meet Mamas! Mama`s is currently in medical foster care and available for pre-adoption/adoption. Below the foster has to say the following!`When she came to us, she was in pretty bad shape with a raging ear infection. Neither of her hind legs were working and her front paws are deformed. It was painful for me to watch her try to stand on her poor front paws trying to keep her hind feet off the ground. She basically walks on her wrists. Her joints were very painful and she yelped if picked up.Since living with me, she has room to roam and travels very slowly in the house and outside. Her hind legs are working better now and she walks instead of hops. Our home is quiet with my husband and I home most of the time. When we`re gone, my little dogs are kenneled. Mammas stays in the guest bathroom with a baby gate because it hurts her to try to come out of a kennel. She lives with one very polite big dog and four small ones her size. She gets growly with them if they crowd her while getting petted or eating. I have no cats but I don`t think it would be a problem cause she can`t chase it. These days when I want to move her, I pick up her round bed with her in it folded like a taco. She`s more comfortable that way and doesn`t act so afraid to be dropped. She`s house broken if you take her outside every three hours or so. I have seen her walk to the back door and wait to be let out a couple of times, but she`s had an accident in the house when I wasn`t paying attention. When I let her out the door, she needs help getting up and down 4` steps. Outside she will lay in her bed looking around listening to the birds and smelling the scents. If the other dogs start barking, she will bark along with them. She sounds like my dachshund. Otherwise she`s very quiet. She`ll get out of her bed to pee and walk a little ways to poop then either lays down or heads back to her bed to be carried back into the house. If she`s laying in the yard, I`ll put her bed next to her and usually she`ll get back in it on her own. I`ll pick it up slowly to give her time to get comfortable then pick my puppy taco up to go back in the house. She knows that they all get a treat after their bedtime pee and lately she`s right there in line with the others smiling for her treat. She knows what no-no means and minds pretty well mostly. When she hears no-no, her eyes get big and her ears go back. So cute.At meal time she will sit around with the others and watch me make supper. She gets lo

Story
Eek! Gus Gus here, spillin` the beans `bout my foster buddy! We`ve been tight for six whole moons now, chowin` down on all sorts of tasty treats together. Lemme tell ya, he ain`t picky `bout food—just like me, he`ll gobble up whatever`s on the menu! Now, my buddy ain`t much of a chatterbox, but he`ll let out a squeak or two when he hears some critters makin` noise. Most of the time, though, he`s quiet as a mouse, just like me sneakin` around the castle! He`s been bunkin` up with kitties and small puppers, and they get along like peas in a pod! Our home`s cozy and calm, the perfect place for a lil` mouse and his buddy. But here`s the thing you gotta know: my buddy`s got a habit of sprinklin` where he shouldn`t. He also has a little heart ticker trouble and persistant cough but dont worry though because he`s got meds to help him out! When it comes to playtime, he`s not too interested in toys, but he`ll join in once in a while, just like me with a game of hide-and-squeak!And let me tell ya, he`s the friendliest, cuddliest critter you`ll ever meet! Always up for a snuggle and a nibble of cheese. So if you`re lookin` for a companion as sweet as a crumb, my buddy`s your mouse! ???

Story
This little one is doing so much better in foster. Sookie is on some medications to help her with some spinal issues she has had causing her to not be fully in control of her hind end, they are working and she is so much better. Sookie can be a bit shy of strangers and that is what got her in some trouble in the shelter, but in foster she has done great with the other dogs, big and small. There are cats in the foster home but she is doing slow introductions so she doesn’t get overwhelmed. Due to the medications she is on, she is having a hard time with potty training, but we home when she gets to be off the meds one day, she will catch on quicker to house training! Sookie loves walks but we are taking it slow for now. She also loves sleeping in the big bed!

Story
Johnny is house trained. He always crawls towards the door when he needs to go out.2. He is good with dogs. I have 2 Greater Swiss Mountain dogs and they get along great.3. I do not know about cats.I do not have any.4. Good with my 6 year old grand daughter.5. No leash or crate has been needed for him so far.6. History I know, was said to be a stray and was hit by a car.1. Johnny does appreciate affection but he is a private kind of dog. He wants to get to food and water himself. Also will get up on his own and walk around when no one is looking.2. Have not had any luck with toys so far.3. Activity level is low at this time.4. He is telling me he just wants to be loved and he loves you back.5. Sweet, sensitive, happy lil man.6. He is the sweetest lil man, he enjoys his space but he does this adorable lil howl if you are giving him attention and then stop as if saying more lovings please 7. His best quality is his temperament, after all he has been thru he has the spirit to keep improving 8. Seeing him grow into an indepent pup is so amazing, seeing him enjoy treats, standing, taking first steps.9. Seeing him want to go out with my big dogs and taking part when they bark when someone comes over. So adorable.10. I believe an ideal home for him would be one with other dogs or without. I believe he would be able to be quite comfortable with a number of homes. He is very easy going.

Meet Miss Monkey... She`s my current medical and is ready for adoption. She`s a happy, spunky girl who loves to be cuddled and ride in her stroller. She`s about 7 years, spayed, UTD on shots and has an upcoming dental scheduled. Good with dogs, cats, and bunnies. Has her own unique walk due to a fused vertebrae.
