Story
Name: Josie Age: 5-10 year old Breed: pit/lab mix Gender: female Weight: 55 lbs Good with kids: Not fostered with children Good with dogs: She’d prefer to be an only dog Good with cats: No kitties for this girl Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: Yes Foster location:Waupaca, WI Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption fee: 200 Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Meet Josie, a sweetheart who joined us from a Chicago shelter! While she’s listed as 10 years old, our vet suspects she’s closer to 5 based on her beautiful teeth. Josie arrived with some skin issues that put her on the euthanasia list, but thankfully, Our Pack swooped in to give her a second chance in Wisconsin. Josie is an absolute sweetheart! She adores her walks and snuggling with her humans, making her a joy to have around. She’s perfectly fine being kenneled but usually prefers to roam freely when her foster mom is at work. After just a couple of weeks on antibiotics and steroids, her skin has shown incredible improvement—no more itching, and her beautiful fur is coming back in just in time for the chilly Wisconsin weather! We’re so excited to see Josie thriving and can’t wait to find her the perfect forever home. While she’s currently living with other dogs, she would really love to be the only pet so she can soak up all the love and attention she deserves. She’s fine with seeing dogs, she’s fine with knowing dogs are there but she likes her own space. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your days with joy, Josie is the girl for you!November 2, 2024, 4:59 pm
