Arya was rescued with her sister Adriana from the streets of Puerto Rico. She is a sweet, silly girl who wants to be a part of a family that will love her and give her the life she deserves. If you want a dog that cuddles, Arya is your girl! Message us if you would like to fill out an application! Arya does ok with older kids, but younger kids stress her out and make her nervous. P.S. We did an Embark DNA test hoping to find out her breed, only to be told she is a "Puerto Rican Village Dog."

LOVES CUDDLES, WALKS AND BEING AROUND HIS HUMANS80 pounds of unconditional love is what you get with Chance, a new resident at VBACAC. Friendly, fun and very experienced at living with his family in a comfy home.Surrendered due to no fault of his own, Chance enjoys lots of toys, chasing tennis balls and treats. At 11 years young, he is still ready to go and ready to do and ready to see and ready to ...well, just about anything.House trained (good boy!) and easy on the leash, beagle/lab mix Chance enjoys car rides and going out with his family.Yes, you heard that right, beagle/lab mix Chance is the size of a lab with the body and head of a beagle! He's super-duper cuteness overload with a smile that will brighten your every day.Such a smart and trusted boy can be left alone to his own devices - no need to worry when you're out! He's better with older kids as he can be a rough player and the same with dogs, which he's only met smaller ones.Chance enjoys some things so much, almost too much, that he might guard these high value items. They're his, right?!!!Ask for advice on this as this is something that can be managed.Add smart to the list of 'good boy' values! Chance will go to the door and bark if he needs to go outside to potty.*A funny, well, interesting bit on knowledge on Chance is that he is said to be nervous when people who have glasses and/or hats on approach him. We all have our quirks, right? LOLSenior Chance is ready to find a new home! Come on out and just ask to meet him! Bring any dog in for a meet and greet! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 87 Age: 11yrs 1mths 2wks
