Story
Hi!  My name is Henry, and I’m a dog (no surprise), a bird dog.  I know that because my DNA says I’m Chesapeake Bay Retriever and German Shorthaired Pointer.   I haven’t had any bird dog training, but I’m really good at retrieving stuffed animals and in true bird dog form, I don’t tear them up.  They are gently held in my mouth.  I’ve had a bit of basic training and I look forward to a refresher class as well as some new challenges.  All of us bird dogs are over achievers you know!  As I’m a social dude, I get along great with other dogs. My dream family would like to take walks and explore, have a big yard, and have lot’s of love to share with me. ##2202335##

Story
Three-year old Justice is an extremely loving and loyal pup, who is hungry for love and longing for his own parents to bond with. Justice is extremely smart and soulful. He is very obedient and eager to please. He is great with commands. As a shepherd, he will follow you everywhere and protect you fiercely. As a lab, he will love to play fetch with you and go for a swim. He is also very intelligent and very low maintenance. He prefers laying at your feet or sitting with you more than anything. When he’s active, Justice loves playing fetch, his favorite game! A fully fenced yard will be mandatory in his life. Justice is good with both dogs and cats. He has had many dog and cat foster siblings and has always gotten along with all of them. We do not know how he is with kids as he has never lived with children. But he is big, so he can knock them down. Therefore we prefer a home without young kids. Justice weighs 75 lbs, and is fully vaccinated for 3 years, neutered, and microchipped. Justice has completed 6 months of board and train, and his trainer will offer complimentary training for life now, either in person or by facetime or video chat. He is a great pup, full of love. He is comfortable around people, and loves car rides. He needs a strong parent who he can look up to, and he will be the best child forever. Story
NEVER MET A STRANGER  Appr. DOB 7/19/15, Weight 43 lb. Meet Charlie, a sweet senior dog with a heart full of love and a beautiful chocolate brown coat. Charlie may be in his golden years, but he still embraces life with a wagging tail and a joyful spirit. Despite coming from a difficult hoarding situation, Charlie's resilience shines through in his gentle and loving nature. He’s always up for a quick walk, a cozy nap, or just soaking up the sunshine in the yard. Charlie enjoys hiding in the bushes and finding treasures there. We believe Charlie was crated most of his life and goes into his crate willingly. But he has missed out on many things. He was never taught commands and is really not doing well with trying to learn them now. Charlie becomes very excited about being in the house and loves to explore. Charlie checked out okay at the vet health-wise. He is heart-worm negative and on monthly preventative. This old soul is looking for a quiet, loving home where he can enjoy his retirement surrounded by kindness and care. If you're searching for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his personality, Charlie is ready to fill your home with warmth and happiness. HOPE ID D24-0731-0026 If you are interested in Charlie and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Story
WHAT AN INNOCENT FACE! Est DOB 12/22/23, weight 32 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Milo, and I’m a sweet, happy, playful black Labrador/ Cattle Dog mix fella with a splash of white on my nose and on my chest. I’ve got the prick ears of a Cattle Dog, but my solid black coat and lanky build indicate my Lab heritage. I’m not finished growing, so you might expect me to weigh 45-50 pounds when I’m full grown. I’m one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet because I love everyone, and of course, everyone loves me back. Could it be because of the always-innocent expression on my face? One of my favorite things to do is fall asleep on top of Foster Mom. True confessions: I snore! I’m smart as a whip, and because I’m very food-motivated, treats have helped me to pick up a few commands very quickly. I’m high-energy, so I love to horse around with the resident dogs in my foster home. I’m curious about the cats, but I haven’t been allowed to meet them yet. Thank heavens Foster Mom rescued me as a stray who was wandering her neighborhood with no collar, tags, or chip. Now I’m ready to find my forever home, and I can’t wait! Could that be with you? Arrange to meet me, and I promise to cover your face with mushy puppy kisses. HOPE ID: D24-0928-0037 If you are interested in Milo and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php .
