Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Meet Millie — the sweetest girl looking for her forever home! Millie was found by my fiancé at his work, and we took her in with every intention of giving her a loving home. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She has been wonderfully cared for and is ready for her next chapter. Unfortunately, our blue heeler has not accepted her, and despite our best efforts, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to rehome Millie. She truly deserves a peaceful, loving home where she can thrive. Millie is an absolute sweetheart. She is super well‑behaved in the car and at the vet. She loves walks, exploring new places, and being by your side. She is gentle, affectionate, and would make a wonderful family dog. We aren’t sure how she does with new dogs, simply because our heeler never got along with her, but we believe she has great potential with proper introductions. We are also willing to drive to meet/dropoff. She deserves a loving home
