Floyd came from a terrible place. He was abandoned in a horrible feces-filled filthy house and waiting to be used as a bait dog in a highly crime-ridden area. The neighbors could hear Dino and Floyd both screaming in the night. Floyd is totally coming around and so happy to be in a safe place. He is in sanctuary and will be considered for adoption by a caring individual who is familiar with special needs animals who've survived abusive situations. Floyd is a very dignified elder gentleman. He is a deep deep auburn color we think part Chesapeake Bay Retriever mixed with Irish Setter and a little Queensland cattle dog which explains Floyd's apartment-sized weight and measurements. He's already crate-trained and settling in...very gentle and people friendly. Please give us a call if you are interested in meeting Floyd. We took her mother in as a stray while she was pregnant. She is potty trained and has her first round of vaccines. Chunky Monkey is a wonderful puppy. She loves to play and cuddle. We want her to be in a loving home. If we could keep her we would!

Story
We adopted a stray in Dec 2023, then discovered that she had 6 fat, healthy puppies hidden away under a shed. We took them all in, but don't have the space/time to properly care for 7 adult dogs. We've tried to adopt them out before they reached adulthood, but no luck. By now they've grown out of their most frustrating puppy traits, like chewing everything to pieces, play-biting, etc, and have matured into much more manageable adult dogs. While we love them, they really deserve the one-on-one attention that they crave. Clementine is the largest girl in the litter, with a pale yellow coat. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Though she still loves to play and run around (a little clumsily), she's more even-tempered than the others. All she really wants is for you to hold her snout while you pet her. *Has never attacked a cat, but will need to be trained not to chase them.
