Story
Hi!  My name is Henry, and I’m a dog (no surprise), a bird dog.  I know that because my DNA says I’m Chesapeake Bay Retriever and German Shorthaired Pointer.   I haven’t had any bird dog training, but I’m really good at retrieving stuffed animals and in true bird dog form, I don’t tear them up.  They are gently held in my mouth.  I’ve had a bit of basic training and I look forward to a refresher class as well as some new challenges.  All of us bird dogs are over achievers you know!  As I’m a social dude, I get along great with other dogs. My dream family would like to take walks and explore, have a big yard, and have lot’s of love to share with me. ##2202335##

Story
A little over 2 years ago, Midnight was found locked in a closet with her brother in one of the homes that I build in the area. I rescued her and took her to the vet to get checked out, update her shots and eventually came back to bring her home. She is an amazing dog that loves to run and play, loves water and swimming in lakes and getting her multiple naps per day. She is very active and loves to jump up on her back legs to give hugs and kisses. Anyone would enjoy being around Midnight, she is such a pleasure to have. Our lifestyle and work schedule doesn’t allow us to give Midnight the life suited for her.

Story
Hi, I'm Brynn! Age: Approx. 10 months Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 38 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix Favorites: Toys, running around the play yard Energy level: Moderate Training: None apparent at this time Other important info about me: I’m a social butterfly and never pass up an opportunity to make a new friend! When I came into the shelter I had a medical issue that required surgery as well as ringworm, but I’m all fixed up now and finally ready to be adopted! I still have some hair loss due to the ringworm, but my hair will grow back over time. I do well with people of all ages and other dogs and would fit well into a wide variety of homes. I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
Meet Snickers – The Awkward and Adorable Pup Who Just Wants to Be Loved! If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion, Snickers might be the perfect match! This easy going boy is a little awkward in the cutest way and is happiest when things are calm and relaxed. Here’s a bit more about this gentle soul:- Snickers enjoys hanging out with other dogs who share his chill vibe. No roughhousing needed—he’s all about peaceful companionship.- Energy Level: Low to mild – Snickers prefers laid-back activities over wild adventures. A walk and a comfy nap are more his speed.Play Group Summary:- Enjoys mutual play but won’t start it every time- A relatively quiet boy – not the loudest in the group!- Often pauses during play and sometimes prefers to just observe- He can get nervous, but with patience and understanding, he warms up beautifully- Snickers may be a bit shy at first, but underneath that nervous exterior is a pup longing for connection. All he needs is a little patience, love, and a calm environment where he can feel safe.Could you be the one to show Snickers what it means to be truly loved?
