Story
Meet Palmer, a delightful 2-year-old shelter dog whose joy is infectious. As you approach him, his tail wags with excitement, and his eyes light up with happiness. Palmer greets you with gentle enthusiasm, refraining from jumping and instead expressing his affection in a calm manner. On a leash, he walks with grace, enjoying the outdoor surroundings as he explores and sniffs with curiosity. Palmer's mellow and calm temperament shines through, making him an ideal companion. He has mastered the art of sitting and delights in catching treats, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to please. Recently tested with other dogs, Palmer would likely do better with a female. His go-to move was humping, so an older dog may not be tolerant of his playstyle. Palmer is not just a dog; he's a loving and well-behaved friend ready to bring joy and companionship into your life.He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have cats or dogs in the home, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. ". Story
Hello all! This is Doge and he came to us when his previous owners could no longer care for him. Doge is a large sized dog who is looking for a new forever family with an active lifestyle, as he has lots of big boy energy and is very adventurous! Having proper outlets for Doge`s energetic lifestyle is essential. Doge has had a hard time making new dog friends in the past and tends to resource guard his items. Due to this, Doge will need to have slow and monitored introductions with other dogs in the home over a period of time and we recommend feeding him in a crate or a safe space by himself, to lessen his need to guard the food, until proper training has been established. We do not know how Doge is with cats or children, and therefore we recommend slow and monitored introductions with them as well.

Story
Hello, my name is Anna! I am about 1 year old and weigh 45 pounds. I'm a perfect, medium sized dog! I'm completely house broken and I'm doing great with crate training! You may have noticed that I only have one eye. I went to the shelter with an injury to my eye and the nice vet there fixed me all up! My stitches are completely healed and now I'm good to go! Don't worry, having one eye doesn't slow me down! I can do everything any other dog can do! I especially love running around in my foster family's back yard with my foster brother! I think I'd really like a fenced in back yard and another dog to play with at my forever home. I have just the right amount of energy and love to play, but I also am good at relaxing. Toys are pretty new to me and I'm starting to really like playing with them! Fetch is my favorite! I also really love to take naps next to my foster mom or dad. I am microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, and spayed. That pretty much means fully vetted at no cost to you! I get really nervous when I meet new people and I usually run away at first. Once I get comfortable, I love giving kisses and getting pets! My perfect family would be patient and understand that it takes me a little while to warm up to new people. I have been in a house with three kids (ages 15, 13, and 10) and I love them all! I think children younger than 10 year old would be a little too overwhelming for me. My foster family also has a pet bunny who lives in her crate in the living room and I just ignore her. I am a sweet pup with lots of love to give! I am so excited to meet you so that you can see what a special girl I am!

Story
Meet Mayo! This sweet boy, with his cute ears and white-and-light-yellow fur, is ready for a loving home. He thrives on companionship, so it's essential that he has another dog to play and cuddle with. Mayo is laid-back when he is near his people and canine buddy but gets anxious when left alone. He's house-trained and crate-trained, though he prefers to have his foster brother nearby in the crate. Mayo gets excited around older kids, but he's easily managed with a "down. He loves exploring the fenced backyard and is looking for a forever family to share his kisses and joy. He is recently neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
