Story
Lefty started life on the streets of San Antonio, was rescued, adopted, then surrendered and confirmed neglected by our vet. We welcomed him into our home in early 2026, and watched him blossom through months of love and guided training. It breaks our hearts, but our other dogs and Lefty just can’t share a home and he deserves to be someone’s whole world. Lefty is cuddly, loyal, and full of quirky charm. He’s totally relaxed with other dogs on walks and at the dog park, but has sleep startle — meaning he reacts if other dogs approach him while resting at home. He needs to be the only dog in the household. His perfect family is: Single-dog home where he’s the only dog so he can be the main star Active, fully committed owners Committed to continued leash & reactivity training Big on cuddles because that’s where Lefty thrives. He is such a cuddle bug Housetrained, neutered, microchipped & shots current. We are heartbroken to say goodbye but just want Lefty to find a better forever home! Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Well lets just tell the truth, ALBERT is a special kind of mutt who is just a very loving and ideal companion for any family.  His mother is a spaniel terrier and since we found her on the streets, his daddy could be any breed. He fits in perfectly in any situation, he adjust well to any change in the foster home.  ALBERT plays well with all of the dogs big and small but can be a bit submissive sometimes.  He has no aggression in any area.  He shares his food and his toys. ALBERT and his sister BABYGIRL were born in my home August 2023 when I rescued their very pregnant mother from the streaming hot streets of San Antonio, TX.  Of the 7 puppies that were born here ALBERT & BABYGIRL are still waiting for their homes. He is crate trained and does not cause any problems at all, he is low-key and just a really good dog all around.  ALBERT is very loving and likes to sleep with me when there is space available, he would love to have his own human that will give him love and attention. I do not have any cats in my home to know how he would get along with them.  If you are interested in adopting ALBERT or his sister BABYGIRL, please submit an application on the website below.  If you have any questions, feel free to call me.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ALBERT is almost 2 years old in August, 2025 and a typical playful puppy who was born in my house.  He is part of a litter of 7 born from a long hair chihuahua/Springer Spaniel/terrier mother.  I have no idea who dad is.  I rescued the mother from the streets during the 100 degree weather heavily pregnant. ALBERT weighs 20 pounds and I believe has reached his adult height & weight already.  His mother was only 22 pounds.  This little boy would really like a home of his own with a yard to run around in.  I do not think he would make a good apartment dog.  He is eager to please and loves hanging out with his adopted sister CIRI. ALBERT was adopted into a home to be a companion to a female dog and that has been wonderful.  The female dog is no longer depressed and so happy that she has ALBERT to play with.  The owner is asking to rehome ALBERT because he does not get along with a male family member who lives in the home.  ALBERT does get along with other male family members as well as strangers who enter the home.  He is a lover and very social and friendly with everyone.  It is just something about this one nephew that ALBERT feels uneasy about.  ALBERT is not mean or aggressive, it is just 1 person out of many that he does not get along with. He has already proven that he will make a great pet playmate and a loyal companion to the owner.  They are heartbroken to have to rehome him and only want the best for him. If you are interested in adopting him please submit an application on the website below OR contact Dusty at 210-387-5228 to discuss scheduling a meet and greet.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
