Story
Currently with a GA foster home is Sweet Pea - who is - just that! Sweet Pea became a PMAR pup when she started hanging around an encampment where there was another doggy family living.  We were able to take in a few of the other puppies, and could not leave Sweet Pea to fend for herself so she is now part of PMAR. Sweet Pea is a lab mix, about 4 months old now and 35 lbs - she is going to be a BIG girl.  She's loving and playful and good with everything and everyone.  She is adoptable to the GA area - so if you are in GA - get that application in for this little cutie! Our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary.  Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies.  Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals in Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Name: PenjaminNickname: Penny or Penjamin FranklinAge: 2 years oldHobbies: Playing outside, snuggling, getting treatsPreferences: Likes other dogs similar to his energy, would do best with older savvy kids, failed cat testedReason for being at BCHS: His shelter was affected by the hurricanesPenjamin is a big, lovable goofball with a heart as squishy as his cuddles! This sweet 2-year-old pup is bursting with love, energy, and the kind of joy that makes every day feel like a party. Originally from Tennessee, Penjamin has been through a lot—his shelter was hit by a hurricane—but that hasn’t dampened his playful spirit one bit! He’s always ready for an adventure, whether it’s zooming around in the sunshine or soaking up all the belly rubs he can get. His adorable nub tail wags at full speed whenever he sees his favorite humans (which is basically everyone), and his charming smile is guaranteed to melt hearts. Penjamin is a total foodie, so treats are the way to his heart—and a great motivator as he continues working on his manners. He’s already making great progress and would thrive with an active, dog-savvy adopter who’s ready to help him be the best boy he can be! And did we mention his incredibly soft, floppy ears? They’re practically begging for endless snuggles. If you’re looking for a silly, affectionate, and fun-loving companion, Penjamin is your guy! Come meet him and get ready to fall in love!

Story
Meet Tequila, the delightful lab mix from Texas, ready to shake things up in your life! At just 8 months old, this medium-sized girl is bursting with sweetness and has a smile that can brighten even the cloudiest of days. With her adorable coat and playful spirit, Tequila loves rolling around outside and soaking up the sunshine—she would be the perfect addition to your family gatherings! Tequila came to us with her two sisters, Margarita and Sunrise, and she is as social as they come, getting along fabulously with both dogs and kids. While she hasn`t met any cats yet, we think this little cocktail of joy would pass the test with flying colors! If you`re ready to add a splash of happiness to your home, Tequila is ready to mix and mingle with you! Cheers to finding your new furry best friend!
