Story
Hi there! I'm Rosie, a sweet 3-year-old girl who was rescued by Big Dog Ranch Rescue from a euthanasia list at a local shelter. I'm so grateful for this second chance at life! I have a moderate energy level, which means I enjoy playful moments but also love to relax and cuddle. I'm social with both people and other dogs, making me a great companion for playdates and snuggles. My confidence shines through, and I'm always ready for a little adventure! I do have a small quirk: I can resource guard, but with some training and patience, I know I can work on this. I absolutely adore toys and will happily entertain myself with them, and I'm good on a leash, making walks a breeze. I'm looking for a loving home where I can continue to grow and thrive. If you're ready for a playful, cuddly companion who brings joy and affection into your life, I can't wait to meet my forever family!

Story
Looking for a dog who's part social butterfly, part lovable weirdo? Meet Peter Pan, the dog who does jazz hands when he sees other dogs (yes, you read that right—jazz hands). Peter was once on the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter, but thanks to Abandoned Pet Rescue, he's now starring on his very own beer label at Gulf Stream Brewery. Move over, celebrity pups—this guy’s got an underbite smile that’s become the face of Four-Legged Lager. And yes, he’s available for belly rubs and pawtographs.Rescued in 2022, Peter Pan went from skin-and-bones to a 50lb bundle of pure quirky joy. This 6-year-old pup has been charming humans for nearly 2 years at the shelter. He goes to every adoption event in the community including his favorite event called "Pups and Pints" which takes place once a month at Gulf Stream Brewery. His hobbies? Sunbathing like a total diva, rolling in the grass like he's auditioning for a rom-com, and making friends at the local bar. If you're looking for a drinking buddy with some serious doggy dance moves, Peter Pan is your guy! He’s dog-friendly and loves enthusiastic, playful roughhousing, so he’s basically the party animal of the dog world. And in the winter? His fur gets all curly, and let's just say that the ladies love it!Adopt Peter Pan and not only will you gain a best friend—you’ll also get to share one of his signature beers with him (he insists). Apply for this lovable oddball at AbandonedPetRescue.org!Want more of Peter’s adventures? Story
This is a heartbreaking option but I just can’t risk it anymore. Lucy is a sweet good dog when she is on her own. She has been with other dogs her entire life but when she hit adulthood she started getting into scuffles with my older female dog. Our older female dog passed and as time went on we decided to adopt a male puppy. They got along great, they honestly seemed like the perfect pair. They have been with each other for 2 years with no issues until more recently. They have gotten into serious fights and I don’t want her to keep getting hurt when she is the one starting them. She’s honestly a great dog but I realize her comfort zone is no other dogs and/or children for her to shine the most. She is house trained, she can sit, give paw and take treats nicely on command. She loves to play fetch, she could play for hours returning the ball. I just want someone who can give her the space she needs.

We got her as a puppy around 7months old. She is great with other dogs & with all people. Very hyper and loves to play & run. She has had one litter of puppies 2 yrs ago & was then sprayed afterwards. She is currently 4 years old almost 5 years old. She is just becoming too much of a handful for myself as I am getting older.

Story
Hi! Bandit is 5 year old pure bred black lab. She is very affectionate, loving, and sweet. She is great with kids, and other dogs. She loves to be active (run, swim, play ball) but also will lay on the couch with you all day. She is strong, and fast. She really is the perfect dog for a family, or someone active. If interested would love to meet up and see if you are a match! Rehoming for personal reasons, no fault at the dog.
