Story
Say hello to Ms. Sweets! This cutie is under 2 years old and one of the smartest kids on the block. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people and dogs but warms up quickly. Sweets loves to play and will never back down from a good game of chase. She is currently in the Paws In Prison program where she is learning appropriate doggie behaviors and basic commands. When she graduates she will be the perfect pup for someone looking for a loyal companion with excellent manners that loves adventures.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sailor - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, her pathway to a new life! Hi ya everyone, I'm Sailor, a young 'un of about 2 years old and a 65-pound fella. I come with a sweet, gentle, and easy-going personality. But I'm finding myself dreaming my nights away just waiting for a home, a family...one that I can say is all mine. OMGosh, since you're reading this, could that family be with YOU?!!! I'm a handsome boy that loves people both tall and small and I do great with the other foster pups although I would do best in a home without cats. I'm an active boy that is always up for an adventure. I am a friendly, affectionate, and playful pooch that also enjoys meeting new people and receiving lots of pets and affection so our walks will be a little longer as I want to stop and say hello to everyone!! I really enjoy being outside whether it be to go for a walk, hike, splashing in the river (one of my favoritest things!!) or just playing in the yard. I have an easy going playful personality that has me in the makings to be the bestest companion to just about any family! I would be a great companion that will stick by your side through thick and thin being everyone's BFF and a great addition to a family...could it be YOUR family?!! If you're looking for a fun-loving, sweet, and adventurous canine companion, I is the 'ONE" for you! All you need to do is stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application and I'll take it from there!!! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Name: LuckyBreed: Chesapeake Bay Retriever MixAge: 2 years oldKids: Over 12Dogs: YesCats: NoOur lovely Lucky has been hanging out in foster care while searching for her forever home! Though she is loving life in her foster home, Lucky thinks it's about time she finds her family!Lucky is 2 years old and is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix. This pretty girl loves attention and is super affectionate! Lucky has a ton of energy so would benefit from someone who has an active lifestyle that can take her running or hiking and preferably a home with a fenced-in yard where she can get all her zoomies out! Lucky loves chasing the tennis ball and zipping around her fosters yard! Don't get her wrong, Lucky likes her quiet time at home hanging out with her foster dad and just relaxing. Lucky girl loves everyone she meets, is very trusting of people and bonds quickly! This girl will be glued to your side in a minute and be your bestie!Lucky likes other dogs, though sometimes doesn't know how big she is, so would prefer a canine companion comparable in size or one who can handle her energetic play style. We are saying children over 12 for Lucky because she can get a bit excited at times and jumpy when greeting people, but she's working hard on her manners.Lucky is housebroken, crate-trained, spayed, micro-chipped, and UTD on her vaccinations. If you are interested in Lucky, please fill out an adoption application today! https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=27

Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
