Story
Meet Delilah! She is a very smart 3 year old that is very loyal to her humans. She is completely friendly with strangers, gives lots of kisses, and adores anybody who will throw her ball. Fetch is her favorite thing ever, she drops the ball right at your feet when she wants it to be thrown, and lays down and waits. She also knows sit and is learning new tricks! She loves water so it would be great if she could find a pool or head to the beach. She’s a larger dog (around 90lbs) so we would recommend older kids only. She loves being around her humans and smelling all the new smells. She’s great in the car and is a good beach/hiking companion. Interested in adopting this pet? Story
Oreo currently in a home with a beagle and German Sheperd mix (who we also got from the same shelter as Oreo, and were both on the same euthanasia list). Oreo loves any type of walk (short/long). He is very mellow, humble, well behaved, and listens to commands. He knows how to shake both paws and sits/goes to his crate when told so. Goes potty when told so. He avoids conflict. He is non-reactive towards other dogs when other dogs bark at him. He loves car rides. He loves his crate and likes to be alone or with people. He doesn't get separation anxiety. He is a perfect, healthy dog who needs his furever home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Friends, our beautiful 8-month-old puppy, Onyx, is in need of your help to find him a loving and supportive forever home. Despite being born with a front leg deformity that has resulted in a shorter right leg, Onyx is a joyful and spirited boy who can run and play just like any other puppy. While he may be a little slower than his peers and doesn’t require as much exercise, his loving nature more than makes up for it. Onyx has formed a wonderful bond with one of our other dogs, Osa, and we would be overjoyed if they could be adopted together. However, we understand that this may not always be feasible, and our primary goal is to ensure Onyx finds a wonderful home where he can thrive. After consulting with two veterinarians, we are relieved to share that they both concur Onyx can continue to flourish without the need for a leg amputation, allowing him to live a long, happy, and pain-free life. Onyx is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, making him ready for his new adventure. He adores short walks, enjoys the company of other friendly dogs, and absolutely loves trips to the beach, where he can explore and soak up the sun. If you reside in San Diego County or the surrounding areas and are interested in fostering to adopt or adopting Onyx, we invite you to complete our foster or adoption application at tlck9rescue.org. Let’s work together to give Onyx the loving home he deserves. Remember it's Hands and Paws Together Forever and with your help, we can find Onyx the family he has always wanted!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 3:28 pm

Story
How this pet arrived: Noodle was brought in by her previous owner on 2/15/2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Noodle, a beautiful and complex girl looking for the right home to help her thrive! She's generally good meeting new people, though she can be fearful in certain situations. In our care, she tends to be shy at first but warms up quickly meeting someone new. Her previous owner indicates that Noodle has shown patience with children and is crate trained, though she may vocalize when inside and alone at home. She has some behavior challenges, including dog reactivity/aggression and a strong prey drive toward cats, so we require she live in a home without other dogs, and recommend she not live with cats. Because she gets a little anxious, Noodle can be a bit destructive when left alone uncrated. We have valuable information to help you guide her management and set her up for success. If you're ready to work with Noodle's unique needs, she'll reward you with love and loyalty! Please visit our Escondido campus to say howdy to Noodle! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 48.8 Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks
