She has had a debtal along with all the items below. Our family didn't have a lot of time to spare for us so we were crated a lot. Our dad decided we deserved better so he brought us to the ranch. At first we didn't know what was going on but then we made friends with the Director and this place is REALLY cool!!! We NEVER have to be in a crate and we are never alone!! There are always plenty of humans around and lots of fur friends and we have this big fenced in field that we LOVE!!! We like to run and play ALL day! My owner took me to the ER where it was determined I had a compound fracture that would require a large surgery and lots of care to which my mom could not do. The only other option was euthanization :( Thankfully someone said to call 2nd Chance and they took me and paid my ER bill and then paid my $6600 surgery and then nursed me through 8 weeks of crate rest. Introducing Delphine, a 5 year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. Delphine is a very sweet girl, a little shy but loves pets and comes to her foster mom for affection. She came to Zoe’s House from a commercial breeder when her breeding years were up. Delphine gets along well with the other dogs and a puppy in the foster home. She is used to children from the breeder. Delphine is crate trained and sees her crate as a safe place since she sleeps and eats in there. She goes in her crate on her own to rest. She well with housebreaking. Delphine needs a family who will be patient with her as she continues to learn how to be a dog in a house. She does well in the house so far. Kids of any age should be fine with her as long as the are respectful and not rough. A fenced yard is best for Delphine. We could consider other secure ways to keep her safe when outside. Delphine up-to-date on vaccines and is already spayed. I am being fostered in Schuylkill County so any potential adopters will have to travel to meet her. Meet Pete!! Pete came to Zoe’s House from a commercial breeder due to being too old to sell. This sweet cavalier is only 9 months old. Currently weighing in at 22lbs. Pete is a super sweet guy, he’s a little shy but warms up quickly wanting love. Pete enjoys spending his days playing with the other dogs in his foster home. You will find him running around with them and playing tug of war. When not playing with the dogs he likes to be near his people. He’s happy to lay on the floor near them but really enjoys being next to them to get pets and snuggles. He does well in his crate but will bark for a little. Pete’s been doing well with potty training but regression is common when changing environments. We are also working on walking on a leash, he is not a fan and pancakes. Pete is UTD on vaccinations, on preventatives and he is already altered. If you think this sweet little boy would make a great addition to your family, apply today!
