Meet Maisie, a curious but shy 2.5 year-old Cavapoo who's ready to find her forever home!
At 22 pounds, Maisie is the perfect size for cuddles and companionship. She may be a bit reserved at first, but once she warms up to you, she is very sweet. Maisie also has heterochromia: two beautifully different colored eyes! One is brown and the other is blue with some hazel sprinkled in.
Maisie is crate trained and sleeps all night without making a peep. She's still working on her leash training and does well going potty outside on a regular schedule. She is a quick learner and eager to please (especially with cheese)! With some patience and positive reinforcement, Maisie will continue to make great strides. She is currently fostered with a small dog her size and loves watching and learning from him. Some of her favorite toys include balls, crinkle toys, and anything with a squeaker!
Maisie would thrive in a calm, loving environment where she can feel safe and secure. She would do best in a home with someone who understands that she needs a little time to come out of her shell and that new things can be scary at first. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will reward your kindness with unconditional love, Maisie is the perfect match for you!

Maisie is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
