Story
Meet Bliss! Bliss is. 2 year old, 10 pound Cavachon who has triumphed over a challenging past in a puppy mill.
Bliss's journey has been one of strength and resilience, and now she's seeking a loving forever home where she can finally experience the warmth and care that she deserves! Bliss's soft fluffy coat and soulful eyes speaks volumes about her enduring spirit. Bliss may be initially shy, but she is blossoming into an affectionate companion, eager to bond with those who show her love and patience.
Though it takes her time to warm up to people, she does well with other dogs! She is also crate trained. Bliss would do best in a quiet household that understands her past and is willing to let her come out of her shell on her own terms.
Bliss's past doesn't define her. Her future, filled with love and care is what truly matters. If you have a compassionate heart and the willingness to help Bliss on her path to happiness, please consider making her a cherished member of your family. Bliss is a brave girl who's ready for a second chance in a loving forever home!
Bliss is currently being fostered in Port Reading, NJ. Her adoption fee is $600.
Bliss is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
