Story
Buck Dibble is a little Prince in waiting!
Buck is a 12 lb, 4 years old mix.He is past the puppy stage but with many years of life ahead of him! We believe he is some type of King Charles or Shih Tzu mix not only because of his beautiful looks but his quiet, easy going demeanor. All he wants is a warm lap to sit on and best friend!
You may notice Buck has only one eye but he does not know - it doesn’t bother him one bit or impede his life in any way.
Buck is house-trained and uses a doggie door well! He is also crate-trained, however he will need some help with his leash skills.
Buck came into the shelter as a “stray” but we believe the person that brought him in may have been his owner. Like many rescue dogs we do not know where exactly that they come from, only that people have let them down and they really need a forever family.
Interested in becoming little Bucks forever home? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and the perfect forever home for our dogs. We appreciate you working with us.
Our adoption fees cover spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
