Story
Hi! I'm Midge. I'm from Missouri. From her foster: Please meet Midge. We call her Lily and she responds well to that name. She hails from Missouri and is embarking on a fresh, blossoming journey, much like the renewal of spring. She is from a breeder release and, when Midge first joined our family, she didn't recognize her name. We've since called her Lily, symbolizing her new beginning. Midge aka Lily is a timid dog, scared of virtually everything, including her own shadow. It took a month of gentle patience before she felt comfortable enough to make eye contact without growling. Though she isn't high maintenance, Midge aka Lilyrequires a loving and patient owner who can dedicate time to building her trust-a process that doesn't come easily for her. Midge aka Lily isn't potty trained yet. She uses pee pads in her pen area but is too frightened to venture outside. Our attempts to take her outdoors resulted in her hiding behind bushes. She's also scared of leashes and strollers. Given her fearfulness, a home with a secure fence where she can safely roam on her own would be ideal. Despite her fears, Midge aka Lily has a curious spirit and loves to explore, though she's too scared to do so in front of humans. She seems happiest when alone and would thrive in a household with another dog to show her the ropes. Midge aka Lily is incredibly sweet and adorable. She doesn't require much beyond time and patience and is comfortable in her pen area. Plus, she absolutely loves peanut butter-that's the best way to her heart. Midge aka Lily doesn't bite and can be left to roam freely without chewing on your belongings. She doesn't shed, and her cuteness will win over everyone's heart. However, she is a scared dog who needs a lot of love and patience. If you think you can provide the patience and love Midge aka Lily needs, please consider adopting her and come meet this sweet, lovable dog.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi there, I’m Tommy! You might say I’m a little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. At just two years old, I’ve been known to charm the socks off anyone I meet, showering them with kisses and soaking up all the attention I can get. I’m always on the move, whether I’m playing with toys, rolling around, or just keeping an eye on what’s happening around me. Now, I’ve got a confession to make—I’ve got a bit of a thing for chasing cats. Yep, you heard that right. If there’s a cat around, you can bet I’ll be barking up a storm, ready to give that feline friend a run for their money. So, if you’ve got a kitty at home, I might not be the best fit for you. But don’t worry, I’m not all bark and no bite! I love playing with people and other dogs, especially if it involves a game of fetch or a good chew on a bully stick or yak cheese bone. And while I’m pretty good with commands like sit and come, I’m still working on my house training, so I’ll need a little extra patience and reinforcement in that department. Now, about that fenced yard situation—I love having the freedom to run around and explore, but I’m small enough to squeeze through some fences if the spacing is too wide. So, a secure yard or a leash and harness combo would be ideal for me. But despite my penchant for mischief and cat-chasing, I promise I’m all love and cuddles. I’ve been called a charmer, a Romeo—heck, even a cutie patootie! And I’m ready to bring all that charm and affection to my forever home. So, if you’re looking for a little guy with a big heart, look no further than me, Tommy, your soon-to-be best friend! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi there! I’m Agatha, a sweet and loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. At 4 years old and weighing 15 pounds, I’m the perfect companion size, always ready to snuggle up close to you. At home, I’m a total lovebug who adores people and wants to be as close to you as possible. I live with two resident dogs, and I really enjoy playing with them and snuggling together. I’m also a big fan of spending time outside in the fenced yard, where I love to explore or just lay down and soak in the surroundings. I’m crate trained and comfortable going into my crate to eat or when my humans are away for a few hours. I’m doing great with potty training on a routine. I do bark a little at other dogs or activities happening outside, but it’s nothing too serious—just my way of saying hi. Some of my favorite activities include sitting by my person, running around the fenced yard, and playing with my doggie friends. I’m still working on my leash skills and am making progress, I would thrive best in a home with a fenced yard. I also would like someone who is home most of the day if they don’t have another dog. While I’d probably enjoy having another dog around, it’s not a necessity as long as I have my humans close by. If you’re looking for a devoted and affectionate companion who will bring joy to your days, then I’m the one for you. I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can continue to love and be loved. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hello my name is Daiquiri and yes, I’m small and probably will be when I’m fully grown but I have so much energy and spunk!  Especially in the morning – I am a wild child! My favorite things are toys, playing with other dogs and even cuddling with my people.  Due to me still being a little puppy, I am still working on potty training and I admit, I do bark in my crate. Currently, I’m living in a home with a fenced yard and it is great for me to use up energy, but a fenced yard isn’t required. We can work on leash walking together! I haven’t met any true BIG dogs yet but I do love playing with those my size or a little bigger.  As I mentioned, I can be an only dog if you’re home most of the time.  But I’d also be excited to have a sibling if you already have one. I do love to play play and play so having another dog would be great. Don’t you worry about my size.  I’m just a big love bug in a teeny tiny body.  You’ll see I’m just the best! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. If you are looking for a best friend, please fill out the puppy application. The more info you include on the application the better so I can find a good match for my forever home. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!       Hi there! I'm Tutti Frutti, a 7-month-old female Cavapoo weighing in at a dainty 8 pounds. Let me tell you a bit about myself! At home, I'm the cutest and sweetest snuggler you'll ever meet. I'm energetic, playful, and silly in the mornings, but I chill out for the rest of the day. I love curling up in something warm and soft, like a cozy blanket or a comfy dog bed. As a puppy, I enjoy finding items to play with and chew on, so it's a good idea to have a variety of toys for me to choose from. When I'm away from home, I do just fine but will look for my loved ones. I settle down easily but might tug on the leash if I see another dog because I get very excited and want to play with them all! I'm interested in birds but not so much in chasing rabbits or squirrels. I’m working on a potty routine and generally good at going potty outside during the day and on walks, but I'm still working on overnight potty breaks. I'm also working on crate training. I'm fine being in the crate, but I will bark after a while. I don't need a fenced yard because I walk nicely on a leash to go potty and get exercise. Adventures are fun and I love meeting other dogs we encounter on walks, but I don't necessarily need to be in a home with another dog. However, I'm very social and would love to have dogs or humans around most of the time! I do bark when left alone, so I'm still learning to be comfortable by myself in a crate for longer periods. I'm absolutely the cutest and sweetest pup, and I'm so excited to find my new family who will love me just as much as I love them! *I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills.
