This little cutie is Penny. Penny is a petite, young lady in need of a home. Penny may be little, but don’t let her size fool you. She is sassy and knows what she wants. She loves to snuggle and be petted by the people she loves most. It takes time to earn Penny’s love. Penny has complex medical needs that will require ongoing veterinary care, and is looking for a home who could provide that for her. Penny has been able to make friends with other small dogs and gentle cats at the shelter who do not jump on her. Once Penny is comfortable, she is a great, tuned in buddy who will cuddle in your lap, play gentle tug with her favorite duck toys and enjoys going on walks. She is looking for a home with out children, and patient enough to give this great girl some time to trust. Story
Kodah is a senior dog who is 15 years old. He is loyal, trusting, and has a heart of a lion. He has had a fulfilling life but unfortunately is not a good fit with our toddler. Upon the situation he is good with older kids but is not with younger kids. He is a good watch dog and loves treats and catching balls and frisbies. Kodah is a senior dog so he has arthritis in his hind legs so he has trouble getting up and down stairs. He also has little hearing and sight left. We are searching for a family who will take good care of him during his last few years of life. Someone who can give him more attention and can provide the healthcare that he needs to be comfortable.

Story
Meet Munchkin, a senior 9-pound Japanese Chin looking for a quiet retirement home where he can spend his golden years. Munchkin's age is estimated to be 12+ years. He's visually impaired as well as hearing impaired, and although he can't see or hear when the refrigerator door opens. Munchkin recently had a cardiac ultrasound; his heart murmur is graded as a 5/6. But there is no underlying cardiac damage. A veterinary partner does not recommend medication at this time. Munchkin's house manners are perfect. His foster home has a fenced-in yard and a deck with six steps. They carry Munchkin down the stairs, place him on the grass, and return inside the house within two minutes. Munchkin can go up interior stairs but will need someone to carry him down. Most people observing Munchkin would find it hard to believe he's visually impaired. He appears to be able to see larger objects during the day but has a difficult time with small items like his food bowl. Due to Munchkin's size, age, and health, we believe Munchkin's ideal home includes a quiet adult-only household. Want to learn more? Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
