His birthday is June 11, 2024. This dog's adoption fee is $850. If you are still interested, please read more below. Tom is shy at first however warms up quickly when given time to adjust. He spent the first part of his life in a cage of a backyard breeder. ARF rescued him and he is looking forward to the life he deserves! Tom is a playful puppy and gets along well with dogs of all sizes and temperament. He is outgoing, friendly and playful - when not snuggling and sleeping right next to you, either in bed or on the couch. He is beginning to figure out what toys are and learns from what the resident dogs do. Tom is learning to walk on a leash and is being potty trained. All Tom needs is a family to love, a family that can be patient and accept him as he is every day, to be his cheerleader and his protector for whatever situation. He is so affectionate. His ideal home would include a fenced yard (he hasn’t decided if he likes a leash yet.). He would love to have another dog to teach him the ropes of suburban living. He would be good in a home of any size, although a family with toddlers/loud children might be a bit scary for him. He will do best in a home with another dog or a home that is able to have frequent play dates with other dogs. Tom is looking for a home with lots of love! Tom is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
