Story
Paloma was with my daughtes family for 6 years and me for 3. We are guessing she was with her other family for for 2. She acts and looks younger and keeping her weight at 18lbs has helped. A little arthritis in back knee is her only physical problem. Her breed lives long and strong. Sometimes 18 or more years. She takes gabapentine for inflamation. She has had many teeth pulled and has lovely breath and still able to gnaw on bones and dry food. Loves softened apples and pumpkin puree. She's use to being the only pet in the home. She likes being #1. Her cute breed is typically a little anxious. She has been well taken care of. She does not shed and has beautiful hair. Given her choice, she would eat all the time. She likes play wrestling and walks with lots of smelling breaks. A mature and kind caregiver will be best.

Story
Elmer is a sweet, silly, loving guy! He;s had lots of positive obedience training (stay, sit, down, heel, loose leash walking, hand targeting, etc) and really wants to please! He’s a good leash walker and prefers a slower on-leash pace that allows him to smell all the roses. House trained and good in a crate as well, non destructive when left out. Cuddly, loves playing with toys with his people! A+ at fetch and tug! Elmer is very nervous around other dogs and needs a home where he can be the only dog. He currently lives with two large dogs kept mostly separated and so takes an inexpensive (total about $20/month at Costco) medication to help manage his anxiety. It;s possible he would not need the meds once he was fully settled into a new only-dog home. Although he needs to live without other dogs, he’s not barky or lunge-y when he sees them out on leash! If you’re looking for a cuddly, walk and playtime ride-or-die, Elmer could be your guy!
