Story
We found her about a 2 weeks ago and have been caring for her since. She is super sweet but skittish as she is not used to her surroundings. She has not once been aggressive at all. We took her to the vet about 3 days after finding her and she had not chip. We got her up to date on all her shots and got her on a 30 days flea, tick and dewormer medication. The vet estimated her to be about 2 years old. We have called many local shelters and have had no luck in finding her owner and the shelters we have contacted are all full. We refuse to take her to a kill shelter. We have two dogs already and unfortunately just can’t afford to take on a 3rd. Due to her being skittish we definitely want her to go to the right home as it will take time and patience.

Story
Ollie was dumped on the East side of Lockhart with 6 siblings. Someone picked them up but they couldn't catch her so she was left behind. A neighbor put her in a cage where she sat in her own excrement for a couple days with questionable water and food. I knew about her from a neighbor. I went by and found her in this condition, frightened, fighting. We were able to get her, and I brought her home to decompress. She is a puppy, teething, mostly potty trained though there are occasional accidents still (I do still bring her out every 3-4 hours but she is ok in the night). She is well adjusted with me, loves to play fetch, chew her toys. She sleeps with me under the covers. We have been working on socialization - she went downtown on First Friday and did fantastic. She is shy and is building her confidence. She loves the backyard, has played with other dogs, as long as she is introduced. She tries to play with my cat. She is a beautiful dog with huge ears that is very loving.
