Story
Looking for a new Bestie and Rockstar? Meet Dutchess the 18 month cuddle loving Cavachon. She is sweet natured and a consummate lap dog, although she loves a good game of fetch. Dutchess has no health issues and does well with service providers (daycare, grooming, vet etc.). Dutchess is very smart and a great guard dog, alerting me when anyone is at the door and when she needs to potty. If she is sitting with you, she will paw pat your knee. So cute. She is crate trained and knows basic commands. I am looking for a loving home for Dutchess as I will be going to medical school in the coming months. Dutchess will fair well with a senior that is retired yet active she is accustomed to daily walks. She will also do well with a family who does not want to train a puppy but would like a family pet to grow with the kiddos. Dutchess loves kids and lights up around them, she equally loves cuddle time (chilling on the sofa). The adoption fee will cover cost for transitioning.

Story
Intelligent! Funny! Athletic! Shy! Goofy! House trained! Food motivated! Altered! Bea is a happy, spunky, curious, and smart lady! She loves to run around with a toy in her mouth. She'll play independently or with you! Bea is a good walker on the leash. She is learning to be confident in new environments. Bea is deaf and knows hand signals for sit, wait, come, drop it, and find it - more to come! She loves to learn and engage her brain! Her shyness fades when she is given yummy treats. Bea can be crated overnight or 6-7 hours during the day. Snuggling on the couch with you is Bea's favorite way to unwind. An ideal home for Bea is one with no small children (she can be rambunctious!) or other medium/large dogs. She is open to homes with small breeds who are polite, gentle and respectful of space and would need to meet any doggie friends before finalizing adoption. We are unsure of Bea's exposure to kids and cats. We will update this if we get a better idea!

Story
Lola is a riot. She is spunky, smart and affectionate. She was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and brought here through a foster program. I adopted her at 5 months. She was easy to train and loved being part of a big pet household. However, over the last few months she has begun to get aggressive with my 16.5 year old small dog (shown in pic) and resource guarding food and occasionally me. I have done a lot of recommended strategies but not successful. I cannot bear the thought of rehoming her but also do not want her to continue scaring and/or hurting my little guy. Lola has some fear of strangers but warms up, is not a fan of children (scared of them), and would prefer NOT to live in a noisy area (has fear of loud noises, I live in busy Baltimore). She is the sweetest thing. I don’t know what has caused this change but going to an only dog home (or one with BIG dog) would be best. Obviously an in-depth conversation would be required to share more info. I love her.

Story
Charlie was owned by a neglectful home. I was hired to babysit the dog. After 3 weeks, That turned into a temporary foster which turned into all out abandoned. Unfortunately, I cant fully adopt right now but Charlie deserves a loving home with true time and attention 2 years old next month, very smart (commands, potty area, slow feeders, bells etc.) quick learner, crate trained, loves her stuffies (KONG stuffed toys), calmly hangs out under my desk for the whole day; GREAT WFH dog. Rarely barks unless it's potty or shes VERY lonely. Loves all dogs and kids but not aware of her size; children 5 and up recommended. Never had any aggression towards dogs or with food (familiar or new). VERY food orientated and lovesss pets (still learning how to accept above the head pats). Working on leash training, and recall, getting better everyday! City desensitized, GREAT guardian instincts and alerts to strangers approaching. She is every warm, loving and silly. Her home should feel the same.
