Story
Meet Shadow – a handsome, soulful 3-year-old, 61-pound dog who's ready to find his forever home! With his sleek black coat accented by white-tipped toes and two charming white patches on his chest and neck, Shadow is not only striking in appearance but also full of love to give. Shadow is a sweet, affectionate companion who thrives on human interaction. He has a special way of looking at you with his big, brown eyes that melt your heart. He loves being close to his people and will often follow you around the house, always by your side. When he's feeling extra affectionate, Shadow rolls onto his back, eagerly waiting for belly rubs – a true sign of his trusting nature. Potty training? No problem! Shadow is fully house-trained and will give you a clear signal by heading to the door when it's time for a potty break. Though he prefers to be with his humans, he doesn't mind a little quiet time in the crate when there's a tasty treat to keep him occupied. Shadow's love of pets is endless ❤️

Story
Riley is over 2 years old. We adopted him from BARCS in Baltimore City in early December. He has such a happy and friendly demeanor and a face everyone loves. At 30-35 pounds, he's small but mighty! Riley is quite strong and will need an owner that can manage his strength. He's unaware of his size and is a complete lap dog, always wanting to be by your side. The downside to this is he is experiencing some separation anxiety. We've been working on this, but he still gets quite anxious when we leave. Riley knows sit VERY well. He's a smart dog and learns quickly. He is housetrained. It's with a broken heart that we have come to realize that our home isn't the best fit for Riley. We very slowly introduced him to our two 15-year-old cats, and do not get the sense that they can all co-exist safely. Rileyown's interactions with other dogs is somewhat unknown to us. The shelter had mentioned some concerns with how he interacts with male dogs.

Story
Lola is a riot. She is spunky, smart and affectionate. She was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and brought here through a foster program. I adopted her at 5 months. She was easy to train and loved being part of a big pet household. However, over the last few months she has begun to get aggressive with my 16.5 year old small dog (shown in pic) and resource guarding food and occasionally me. I have done a lot of recommended strategies but not successful. I cannot bear the thought of rehoming her but also do not want her to continue scaring and/or hurting my little guy. Lola has some fear of strangers but warms up, is not a fan of children (scared of them), and would prefer NOT to live in a noisy area (has fear of loud noises, I live in busy Baltimore). She is the sweetest thing. I don’t know what has caused this change but going to an only dog home (or one with BIG dog) would be best. Obviously an in-depth conversation would be required to share more info. I love her.
