Story
Paisley is a beautiful Catahoula Hound girl weighing about 53 pounds and probably born 2018. She lived on a logging chain in the elements with NO SHELTER. When her person died she came to rescue. She got her vaccinations, Heartworm and Tickborne testing, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, ears medicated, nails trimmed, etc... Miraculously NEGATIVE for Heartworms, but treated for tickborne. Paisley is super sweet and affectionate, high energy , EXTREMELY playful, crate and house trained, wants CONSTANT human companionship. Paisley can climb 6 foot fences, but not if there are coyote rollers. Paisley would do best as an only dog because while she loves other dogs and is playful, she does not like sharing toys and has been known to "squabble" over toys. Story
We would like to introduce a very special rescue dog to all of you and her name is Pretty Pearl.  Her foster mom says that she has been through fire and back and now she has the character of beautiful PEARL, like in an oyster.  She has  been formed by adversity and yet her spirit is pure sweetness and love.  She has the markings and coloring of a Catahoula mixed with maybe a little Beagle which is what makes her all the more loving and easy going.  At about 5-6 years old and just a perfect medium size at just 40 pounds, she is the perfect companion to someone who lives in a smaller environment like an apartment or a townhouse. She truly has an endearing calmness and mellow approach to life and all the people around her notices this unique quality immediately.  Nothing ruffles her feathers at all.  I take it all in stride and just smooth the edges if needed and keep on going.  This girl is the perfect companion to someone that is in an apartment environment or a townhouse.  She is small, a couch potatoe that will most certainly be an outstanding companion during the winter months when life seems to slow down and cozy companionship is most desired and welcomed.  She was found living outside in horrible conditions and was full of ticks and fleas and very skinny.  Well soon she was introduced to the luxury of an inside lifestyle at her foster home and she has NEVER looked back.  She goes outside to do her potty breaks and rushes right back inside to keep her human fosters company.  Now, if you are outside with her then all is grand.  She is a skilled girl on a leash and if you want a hiking or walking buddy then Pearl is ready to go!   She has had NO accidents in the house since coming to the foster home.  Amazing statistics for a dog that lived outside all her life.  Maybe she truly just feels like being called “Queen” Pearl now.  She sure is being treated like a queen and she wants to stay in that kind of lifestyle.  We think Pretty Pearl will be a wonderful well-kept secret for someone looking for the best companion ever in the world. Pretty Pearl will be the best dog you have ever owned in your life. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com You won’t regret adopting this girl.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 13, 2024, 9:22 pm

Story
Lupin is a very sweet, intelligent and gentle soul. He is just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is going for walks. He is great with other dogs and cats and is very friendly with most everyone he meets. We have had Lupin since 8 weeks old. His ideal home would be with another companion animal and either space to run outside or daily walks. He is 4-1/2 years old, up-to-date with vaccinations, flea and tick and heart worm meds and has no health issues.

Story
PRETZEL Sweet adorable goofy middle aged Coonhound, Pretzel, was recently rescued SKINNY, Heartworm and Tick Disease positive. She has been treated for all, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She has shown that she has pretty good indoor manners. She walks nicely on a leash. She loves everyone and everything. She will destroy a tennis ball. She wants so badly to be someone's loved companion. She was probably born in 2015 or 2016 and is now a healthy, shiny, beautiful 62 pounds. If you might be the person or family for Pretzel, please email trampsrescue@yahoo.com or text 804-248-3042. Thanks.

Story
You know that one friend who's too chill, who just wants to hang out, and somehow always ends up with the best snacks? That's Chance. This 6-year-old Coonhound may be big, but he's a gentle giant who just wants to be loved, play with his dog friends, and occasionally flop down on your feet like a furry rug. If you like snuggles and tail wags, you'll be the best of friends. Chance learns new tricks faster than he can steal your spot on the couch. 100% house-trained, crate-trained, and no destructive habits, Chance is the most laid-back companion you'll ever have. He loves being with his four-legged buddies, but sometimes he needs a little work on his overly-excited "first impression" when meeting new dogs. He seems to do well with kids and if you have a cat, we'd recommend a slow introduction - Chance is a gentleman, but he doesn't speak fluent "meow" yet. But he DOES understand love and kindness, so he is waiting for you to make him a treasured part of your family. Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible. All dogs available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and are current on all vaccinations. Please email dogs@henricohumane.org for more information.
