Story
Milo is a sweet and loving, loyal and protective dog. He loves to play fetch and always eager to sit by you and lay his head on your lap for some scratches and pets. He is 8 years old and he has been with us since he was about 6 months old. He is a well behaved dog and loves playing with our kids as well. He is house-trained, walks well on a leash, does not mind being in the crate if necessary, and does not chew on furniture or destroy home items. He also likes to lay out outside in the sun. He is a great guard dog. He doesn't bark unless he needs to alert us of someone coming up to our house. We are relocating to another state and will not be able to take him with us. If you’d like a great companion, please consider adopting Milo.

Story
Duke is a loyal love bug who happens to be a well-fed Catahoula with lovely markings and warm brown eyes. He needs a tall fence as he will jump a short one to fulfill his desire to be with you. He is best as an only dog. Any considerations for Duke’s adoption are due to his big heart and great love for his people. Duke is as sweet as can be, he rides very well in a car, enjoys belly rubs, and is a mellow man who just wants to be with you. He is a “leaner” content to be leaning against you. (At his temporary home, each time the man reached his hand down, he said Duke’s head was right there.) He loves and bonds quickly to his family but does NOT welcome outsiders. Duke will reward his owner with lots of love and companionship as he gazes lovingly at them. Duke is available to meet at the HALAH grounds in Godley. Story
Rocky is a friendly, happy, and snuggly dog who is always eager to meet new people. His positive energy is evident in everything he does, and he’s an absolute love bug who thrives on attention and affection. Here’s a breakdown of his current behavior and some important notes: Body Language: Rocky passes by kennels and play yards with confident and good body language. He is relaxed and comfortable around other dogs. Leash Behavior: Rocky is always excited to go for walks! He does tend to pull on the leash, but we’ve worked with him a bit and he’s made noticeable improvements. With continued training, he’ll become even better on walks. Training: Rocky is very smart and already knows how to “sit” on command. He’s eager to learn and always happy to engage during training sessions. Size: Rocky is a big guy! His head is about hip-height on me, and he has large, sturdy feet. He’s got the presence of a big, strong dog, but his sweet demeanor is his true charm. Snack Time: Rocky can be a bit jumpy when it comes to snacks, but his enthusiasm is just part of his lovable nature. Personality: This guy is handsome and snuggly—he absolutely loves attention, and all of us gave him some love, which he happily accepted and enjoyed. His kennel tech loves him too, and it’s clear that Rocky has a lot of love to give. Escape Artist: Rocky is quite the clever guy! He can scale a 6ft tall wooden plank fence, so he should never be left outside unsupervised unless he’s on a tether or in a covered kennel. This makes him a great candidate for agility sports! With his intelligence and athleticism, he’d thrive in that type of environment. Overall, Rocky is a sweet, affectionate, and energetic dog who just needs some guidance and supervision in the right home. He’s ready to bring joy and love to a family who can match his excitement and energy.
