Story
Hi, my name is Leo, and I am a Catahoula mix! I weigh about 60 pounds and I am about 8 months old. I was born in a home so I have been loved and cared for. I am a very sweet boy! And my foster mom calls me stunning!! I love to play with other dogs and cuddle on the couch! I am crate trained, house trained and leash trained. I would love a home with a family that is around a lot and has the time to give me exercise and training. Email doggymomma5@gmail.com for more information and an application.

Story
Bebe is estimated to have been born in April 2012. She came to us in the summer of 2021 after one of her owners passed away and the other moved into an apartment and could no longer keep her. Her previous owner acquired her as a 6-month old puppy when she showed up on the front porch on a cold night. Growing up, she was mostly an outside dog, but we brought her inside and kennel-trained her. She is energetic, smart, trainable, loyal, housebroken, and protective of the one or two people who she bonds with the most. Unfortunately, she can be aggressive towards other people and other animals when they get too close to her favorite person or her food. She barks at almost any beeping/crunching noise (instant pot, ice cream truck, door opening, vacuum) and nips at the trash bag while taking out the trash. She digs in the yard and chases birds and squirrels. She is a great dog, but she is not suitable for our large family and existing pets. She will thrive where she can be the top dog!

Story
From day 1 he has been the sweetest, smartest, most perfect dog we’’ve ever known. He has never chewed anything but his toys, only barks in his dreams, uses a doggy door with no issues, gets along with other pets to include cats, is so gentle with our grandson. He knows basic commands and reads facial expressions well. He will never protect your house because he’s every one’s best friend! His excitement when we arrive home every day is so heartwarming. He uses a large dog bed and never gets on the furniture. He prefers to sleep next to your bed but is fine sleeping in the living room. He will lick you until you’re fully bathed if you let him. Pet sitters always love him and welcome him back. He’s the one their kids tend to favor. He would sleep in a kennel as he does at the pet sitters, we just haven’t ever had to kennel him because he’s so well behaved. The one thing he will chew if he misses you is paper with your scent on it. My health is rapidly declining due to my allergies to him

Story
HANDSOME AS A GREEK GOD Est. DOB 1/15/23, Weight 60 lbs. Hey there, everyone! I’m Zeus, a sweet, friendly, fun-loving, and affectionate chocolate-blonde Catahoula/ German Shepherd mix fella with mesmerizing ice-blue eyes. I have the blue eyes and coat colors of a Catahoula but the bushy, curved tail of a GSD. I must admit that I’m a striking head-turner who got my name because I command as much visual attention as the king of the Greek gods. But I’m not just eye candy! No siree! I’m a bundle of joy who’s added extra love and energy to Foster Mom’s life. Due to my congenial nature, I love making new friends, whether they’re hooman or other dogs. I’m always up for schmoozing at the dog park, a walk in the neighborhood, or playing a game of fetch. I heard Foster Mom tell someone that I’m the smartest dog she’s ever trained. Add my keen intelligence to my eagerness to please and quickness to learn, and it’s no wonder that I’ve been a delight for her to train. My brother, sister, and I were pets of a guy who unfortunately was evicted from his home and left us behind to fend for ourselves. When our situation was reported to our foster mom, thank heavens she rescued us from living paw-to-mouth on the mean streets of Houston and brought us home with her to foster. If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable, and playful pup to put a smile on your face and a zing to your adventures, I’m the guy for you. Arrange to meet me today. Once you look into my stunning baby blues and experience my charming personality, you won’t be able to resist taking me home with you. HOPE ID D23-0628-0024 If you are interested in Zeus and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com and a HOPE volunteer will get back to you.

Story
The only thing this Bonnie is trying to steal is your heart. So, she can cherish it forever! She is best described as affectionate, playful, and loving. One hundred percent of the time, she prefers people over dogs. It appears that other dogs intimidate her and she would prefer a home without them as her behavior towards them is best described as avoidant. She is open to the idea of living with a dog who chooses to ignore her and has a calm and gentle demeanor. Bonnie is people orientated and will be overjoyed to have her whole life revolve around you!
