Story

Bebe is estimated to have been born in April 2012. She came to us in the summer of 2021 after one of her owners passed away and the other moved into an apartment and could no longer keep her. Her previous owner acquired her as a 6-month old puppy when she showed up on the front porch on a cold night. Growing up, she was mostly an outside dog, but we brought her inside and kennel-trained her. She is energetic, smart, trainable, loyal, housebroken, and protective of the one or two people who she bonds with the most. Unfortunately, she can be aggressive towards other people and other animals when they get too close to her favorite person or her food. She barks at almost any beeping/crunching noise (instant pot, ice cream truck, door opening, vacuum) and nips at the trash bag while taking out the trash. She digs in the yard and chases birds and squirrels. She is a great dog, but she is not suitable for our large family and existing pets. She will thrive where she can be the top dog!

Meet Dipper ?? This sweet little goofball just came into our program from a local Shelter. He’s about two years old and 35 pounds. He could probably put out another 5 to 10 pounds to be the perfect weight for his size. As you can see, dipper is incredibly handsome, and he has a great personality. He loves to run outside and often gets the case of the zoomies. Dipper loves people and just always wants to be a constant loyal companion. He gets along with other dogs. He’s currently in a foster home with bigger and smaller pups and he’s gentle and playful with all. Hi, my name is Princess Pearl, and I am a 8 year-old, 48 lbs, Catahoula mix. I have been looking for my forever home for over 2 years since I was rescued from a kill shelter. I am very good with kids, dogs, and all people, I am also potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained. I am a very easy to love, snuggle bug, but I also love to have some fun. I love playing with ALL the toys; fetch and shreddable toys are my favorite! I also love to run and sunbathe in the yard. I do best crated when you are not home, but I need a heavy duty one since I think wire crates are tasty. Food is my addiction; I will do anything for a good treat. I know how to take treats gently before devouring every crumb. Since I'm very food motivated, I've learned a couple of cool things for rewards like sit, lay down, crate, and shake!
