Story
Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Latte; I’m a 5 year-old Catahoula mix, weighing about 100 pounds. I’m pretty true to my breed: sweet, intelligent, loyal and don't really like negotiating too much. I need exercise and stimulation - but once I get that I am a couch potato just wanting to be around my people. I love car rides (especially going to Starbucks and getting puppuccinos) ! I love long walks where I can explore (I'm not a huge fan of buses and Amazon trucks but I am working on that). My real favorites, however, are treats, belly rubs, and hugs. I'll even show you a few tricks (I know how to sit and shake) if you give me a treat! I walk with my dog friends all the time with no issues, but I love my people so much that I prefer to be the only pet in the home.  My trainer (yep… I’ve got a pro trainer!) says since I am a confident dog, and small quick movements don't scare me I would be great around kids! I would always like a meet and greet first of course. I’d like to be with someone experienced with my breed, and willing to give me a bit of time to let me show them just how great of a dog I really am! I just need to settle in, adjust and get to know and trust you -  but once I do… I’ll give you SO much love. Please give me that chance! I’m working hard in my training to be the best dog I can be for you. My trainer said that, as part of the training program, he’ll even continue to work with my forever family at no cost (as long as you live in the DFW area). He loves and trusts me that much!  I can't wait to meet you! If you feel your home might be the right place for this VERY good girl, start with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes vaccinations and spay/neuter. Latte is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
This is Toki he just turned two years old and has recently been neutered. Besides being absolutely stunning he is incredibly smart F My home is too small and the landlord said he cannot stay with me any more. He loves to fetch and play tug-o-war he knows several commands and wants to take you on all the walks. He is crate trained but would prefer the bed. He’s the sweetest boy and I am sad to see him have to leave Tokis ideal family would be really active. He loves the lake and camping. He’s young and excited to do all the things. A farm or big yard is suggested.

Lucy has completed a board and train and is ready to find her forever home! She knows how to place, sit, and lay down on command and also has great leash manners. She is potty trained and crate trained and loves to go on walks. She also does great with the other dogs in her foster home! Lucy can be a little timid and may bark when she first meets you, but is such a loyal and loving dog once she gets to know you. She just wants to be loved! Per Wisdom Panel Lucy is a 3 1/2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix. Due to her breeds, no apartments please! If you are thinking about adopting a dog, please consider adopting Lucy! Applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##950302##

Story
Hi, my name is Zeva! I was adopted as a baby back in 2014. My parents moved and couldn't take me with, so I am now looking for a new home. I would do best in a home with no other pets and older kids since I'm pretty tall and like to play rough. I wasn't walked often before but the staff at Apollo is teaching me how not to pull so much. Its been a challenge but I know I can learn. I was born in December 2013, and I am 71 lbs. I am house trained, and crate trained. I am older but have a lot of energy and love to give. If you are interested in meeting me, fill out a pre application!
