She has waited a long time to be ready and now it is all about her! Meet Mary Kate. She was found as a stray with her husband and children. We were asked if we could help them all find new forever families and we couldn’t say no. She is a happy girl and she loves everyone. She is shy at first, but she is so worth it! She is housebroken, crate trained and has wonderful house manners. She will need a home that understands she will need time and consistency to adjust to her new home. She loves hugs and we tell her every day that she is beautiful! If those amazing eyes and that gorgeous coloring doesn’t grab you, her heart will steal the show! Story
Updated: 06NOV24 **Meet Bette** Weight: 40 lbs (but she believes she's the heavyweight champion of cuteness!) Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Retriever Age: A little over 4 years Spayed: Yes Vaccinations: Up to date ***Background** Bette was rescued from the shelter just in the nick of time! When she arrived at her foster home, she was so thin that she could have auditioned for a role in a doggy version of "Survivor." Now, she's thriving and ready to charm everyone with her delightful personality! **Personality** Surprisingly, Bette is not food aggressive-she's more of a "let's share the snack kind of gal! Calm and quiet, she's the ultimate snuggle buddy who believes that the couch is her kingdom. Bette fits in well with a pack of four and greets all people as if they are her long-lost friends. She might come on strong at first due to being a little fearful of new encounters, but once she realizes that they are friendly, she's all in for a game. Bette is a very quiet girl-not a barker like many dogs-though she might occasionally get excited over a squirrel she sees out the window! Her foster would keep this little girl if they didn't have a full house already because she is simply perfect. **Skills** Bette walks like a pro on a leash, is kennel trained, and has a spirit of adventure! Whether it's a walk in the park or a cozy nap, she's ready for it all. If you're looking for a furry companion who's equal parts explorer and couch potato, Bette is your girl!
