Story
We adopted Pepper from Columbia Animal Services in July when she was around 3 months old. She is now about 8 months old and weighs 40 pounds. We have done lots of training with her and she loves doing tricks and learning new commands. She is very smart and picks up on things quickly. Pepper is energetic, LOVES affection/cuddling and playing outside - she is a pro at fetch. We believe she would thrive in a large yard where she can run and possibly have a job (hunting, herding, workout buddy).

Story
Hi, my name is Cooper!I am a goofy, loving boy looking for my forever home! I have been in the shelter for a while now, but no one can quite understand why. I am very intelligent, cuddly, sweet, and loyal. I do not bark much, but I love to `talk` to my people. My foster mom never understands what I am saying, but I love to make her smile and laugh. I have been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I might bark at new people, but everyone knows that I am just scared. Once you show me love (and some good treats) you will be in my pack for life! I`m a little weary of kids, so I`d love to have a home with none or older kids that can respect my boundaries! I am always excited for an adventure, but I could also happily lay on the couch all day with you. I am highly food-motivated, so training is very easy with me. I am very respectful of rules and boundaries, but I need someone who is going to be respectful of my boundaries too. I am fully house-broken, and can be trusted alone outside of a crate. I would love a forever home with loving people who live a quiet, low-key lifestyle. I need patience with my training and time to allow me to learn how to live a worry-free life. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. What more could you ask for?Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

JerseyMale Catahoula/Lab MixBlack and WhiteDOB 09/05/2024 estimatedThis litter was found at the back of a Laurens residents property. We don't know much about them yet other than they are adorable and scared. They have been around children at the finders home and they report no issues with behavior other than normal puppy stuff. (Not house trained or crate trained) We will post more about their personalities after we get to know them. We will not be able to have them spayed/neutered until after Christmas, but approved applications may foster to adopt. All our pets are posted online and we continue to take applications until they are actually adopted. Many times things change and an approved adopter does not adopt the animal so we do maintain a wait list when necessary. All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, dewormed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines & started on Flea Preventatives. All Canines are started on Heartworm Preventatives and if 6 months or older they are tested for Heartworm Disease.WE ARE OPEN for visitors from 12PM - 4PM Tuesday -Friday and 12PM-3PM on Saturdays or by APPOINTMENT at other times. ONCE APPROVED WE WILL CALL/EMAIL YOU - APPROVALS CAN TAKE A FEW DAYS** WEEKEND APPLICANTS **WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAY & MONDAY THUS YOU WILL NOT HEAR BEFORE TUESDAYONLY ONE APPLICATION NEEDEDIf interested in more than one pup just put all the names on one application. Story
Meet Banks, a one year old male Coonhound/Foxhound who has had a rough start to his short life. He was found starving and with a hurt leg, and after x rays, it was determined that he had been shot. Unfortunately, his leg can’t be fixed, but it doesn’t seem to bother him - he gets around just fine with a small limp. We just think it adds character to his adorable personality . 🙂 Banks is a total sweetheart and just wants to be loved on, pet, or snuggled in your lap. He is gentle, good with kids. Also, heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines.
