Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   Moo Moo is a shy but sweet dog.  She will need a home that has dog experience and is willing to give her some decompression time and love.  If given the time, she is a wonderfully, quiet and mellow girl with a playful side.   She would love to have another companion to help with her confidence and her playfulness.  Please give this wonderful girl a chance but if you are not willing to put in some time and patience....she is not the girl for you.  You will not be sorry.  She is spayed , microchipped and vaccinated.   We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. March 18, 2024, 12:23 am

Story
Blue is the sweetest boy, he loves other dogs and does great with them (just every excited lol) he loves car rides, he does great in his crate at night and while he’s home alone. I took him from GCAC off the euthanasia list to hopefully give him another chance at finding a forever home. I had planned to foster him as long as it took but its became a more urgent matter recently due to my senior dog not liking him (no fault of his own) I just believe she is getting to old to deal with new fosters. I don’t want him getting hurt. He has had 2 failed adoptions so far since leaving the shelter with me. One ended with him being picked up of the road and taken to AC PAWS. Thankfully the “new owners” hadn’t changed the microchip information so I was contacted and was able to pick him up once again from the shelter. Being back in the shelter is the last thing I want for blue. He thrives not being cooped up in a crate constantly. He loves to cuddle and just relax with you inside wherever you are.

Story
Noel`s short 2 year life has not been the best. She was found stray in SC, thin, hungry and had a litter of puppies. The puppies were taken in by a local rescue but she was left behind in a rural, 10x10 kennel. She LOVES people, walks great on leash, rides well. Her issue seems to be a lack of trust in other dogs. We had her assessed and were told she could be trained due to her general sweet nature. For now, we feel a dog free home is best and if that owner would commit to training with Noel, she would likely end up learning that dogs aren`t out to hurt her and can be her friend. Noel is in paid boarding since we have no foster home for her. We hate it. Likely all she`s known in life is being stray, caged, unloved, pregnant and a hungry mama caring for her babies. Help us turn her life around! She will reward you by being a faithful companion and lots of kisses. 2 yrs. 43 lb. Spay, vaccines, microchip provided.

Story
Hi, my name is Cooper!I am a goofy, loving boy looking for my forever home! I have been in the shelter for a while now, but no one can quite understand why. I am very intelligent, cuddly, sweet, and loyal. I do not bark much, but I love to `talk` to my people. My foster mom never understands what I am saying, but I love to make her smile and laugh. I have been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I might bark at new people, but everyone knows that I am just scared. Once you show me love (and some good treats) you will be in my pack for life! I`m a little weary of kids, so I`d love to have a home with none or older kids that can respect my boundaries! I am always excited for an adventure, but I could also happily lay on the couch all day with you. I am highly food-motivated, so training is very easy with me. I am very respectful of rules and boundaries, but I need someone who is going to be respectful of my boundaries too. I am fully house-broken, and can be trusted alone outside of a crate. I would love a forever home with loving people who live a quiet, low-key lifestyle. I need patience with my training and time to allow me to learn how to live a worry-free life. My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. What more could you ask for?Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
